And Al qeida may do more than dance if Obama is elected.
Cannot say anything (much less criticize) about the “Religion of the Perpetually Outraged and Offended.”
aka “RPOO” (AR-poo). I like it.
DES MOINES, Iowa - An Iowa Republican congressman on Monday defended his prediction that terrorists would celebrate if Democrat Barack Obama were elected president, despite a rebuke from aides to John McCain, the GOP’s apparent presidential nominee.
“(Obama will) certainly be viewed as a savior for them,” Rep. Steve King told The Associated Press. “That’s why you will see them supporting him, encouraging him.”
I grew up about 30 miles from Waterloo. We rarely went there shopping, instead preferring Cedar Rapids that was 30 miles the other direction.
Waterloo, back in the 60’s and early 70’s was like a mini- Detroit. Blighted, closed factories, high unemployment and crime, and had a general cultural disregard for a co-operative spirit. I have no doubt why it would be a demoRat enclave of support for Obama.
Thanks. Hadn't thought of it as such, but like it too.
It's becoming more and more difficult not to a.s.s.u.m.e. that white liberals, Muslims, and * some * Blacks like the ones who attend Jeremial Wrights' Trinity United of Christ Church are all in cahoots to destroy America. Toss in the ultra psycho Louis Farrakan too!!!
And, if the shoe fits...
It's time for the grownups to put these nitwits in the rightful place --> insane asylums!!!
psychiatrists must be doing a hell of a business -- that is the shrinks who aren't liberals... because the liberal shrinks won't recognize psychos who are just like them.
The truth .
There are real reasons to oppose Obama. The likelihood of what he would do with regard to the WOT is one of them -- it's extremely serious, because Obama is quite obviously a callow flyweight on that, as so many issues.
If Mr. King wants to raise those issues, he should have done so -- and good for him.
But of course he did not. He stupidly tried to make the "middle name" thing the point of attack, and it's not an issue at all. I mean really: "His middle name is Hussein so he's gonna let A-Q win the war on terror?" Who can take that seriously?
That's 2nd-grade playground crap, and it obscures the issues that adults should be addressing.
That Al Queda would dance in the streets if Obama wins.
And it works very well for them, too. If they can make us focus on their outrage and offense, then they can avoid the real issues.
And Mr. King played right into their hands with his stupid comments. What a putz.
BTW, notice the article identifies Rep. King with the evil 'R' word within the first sentence; unlike Gov. what's-his-name from NY who vanished down the memory hole even before his last day in office with nary a mention of party affiliation.
Hussein praising his anti-American leader, J. Wright.
Obama should go.
Not true.
Seems to me like his re-election is now assured.
They sure get upset when the truth is told.
RPOO— excellent. It should enter FR-speak.
You make valid points.
