When I read that Oklahoma State Rep. Sally Kern had "outraged gay activists," I knew that she had told an important truth. And, sure 'nuf, she had. She said: "The homosexual agenda is destroying this nation. Studies show no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted, you know, more than a few decades." She said she thinks the homosexual agenda is "the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism or Islam, which I think is a big threat." Kern's office has received more than 23,000 emails, mostly condemning her views, many of the emails said to be "vulgar, vile and profane" – an excellent description, of course, of "gay activists."
Kern’s point, if not stated as precisely as it might have been, is true. God, in His Word, makes it clear that the nation is blessed whose God is the Lord (Psalm 33:12). And nations that turn their back on God are cursed (Psalm 9:17). Nations, a people, who approve and encourage what God condemns place themselves on death row. They commit suicide. National sin, officially approved sin – for example, “legalized” homosexual sodomy -- brings national judgment. Sodom and Gomorrah found this out the hard way discovering (too late) that “learning by experience” is not the ideal way to discover truth.

Which just reinforces the point she made. It's not just in the moral area that they are a threat. They're reacting just about like muslims.
They stem from the same root, the “God is dead” mentality which makes morality obsolete and everything a matter of personal choice.
Well, yeah, but that doesn't require God's wrath, since simple biology will guarantee that if homosexuality is "totally" embraced, there simply isn't going to be a next generation, and it's not too long after that the society gets old and dies. OTOH, the highest figure I've seen for homosexuals in America is 10%, and that includes bi-sexuals. There's still a ton of kids being born. So I don't think we're in any danger of dying out from that angle.
God, of course, can strike at any time, should He choose to do so. I would think that He would take out some of the more egregious totalitarian nations first, but I don't claim to know the mind of God, as the author claims to do.
I'm not one who believes we should federally regulate bedroom behaviors for adults. Though homosexual behavior has many health risks and should be discouraged in the school systems.
Amen! “We” shouldn’t. God, of course, should — and already has. He says homosexuality is a death penalty crime.
True and, sad to say, those who have destroyed our once great Christian nation are people in the Church, in the pews and pulpits.

I agree. Homosexuality is completely wrong, but I think abortion is a much worse offense. There is no consistent justice in this world, however. Many good people die young and tragically, while some evil bastards live to a ripe old age. The judgment day is a totally different story, though.
Careful there... this is the wrong thread to point out that legislating private morality: a) is counter to the Constitution, and b) doesn't work.

Now, as it happens, I wouldn't be surprised if humankind earns the Wrath of God at some point. But that's different from whether we try to legislate morality in the meantime.
The price of abortion will be ALL freedoms. After they take your guns, I don't own any, then they will take the rest of our freedoms, all because God is removing His blessings from our nation. Abortion is expensive. The children are murdered because of quality of life? Well then won't it cost us our quality of life? And what would be so strange about that. After all, if the Constitution doesn't protect the weakest how could we expect it to protect us?
Ahhhhhh abortion, with each click of a switch that turns on the vaccuum weapon, a new statute goes onto the books that takes away another inch of our freedom in every town and state. Guns are American's identity in relationship to the huddled masses of the world who huddle hiding from their dictators, as they yearn to be free. Satan calls it freedom of choice, but since he is a liar it is easy to understand how this freedom of choice is really a removal of all freedoms, eventually, and who could deny that without your guns you will be left to the monsters. Btw, I'm completely unaware of any natural disaster of any signficance in Germany from 1933-1945. Seems like if there were any messages sent or protection revoked by a deity it would have been then.
