Donna Brazile, a Democratic superdelegate and ABC News political consultant, said Obama was able to turn the attacks into an opportunity to show his mettle as a campaigner

The MSM will try to put lipstick on this pig, but it's sure not going to be easy.

Today, campaigning in Plainfield, Ind., he said Wright never made incendiary statements in his presence.

Obama lies - - Suprise! Surprise!

Presidential candidate Barack Obama on Friday repudiated what he called "inflammatory and appalling remarks" made by his Chicago pastor.

Obama said he had not been present during the sermons in question.

Obama told MSNBC, "Had I heard them in church I would have expressed that concern directly to Rev. Wright."

Please note, he says that he would have expressed concern, not repudiate, the words

Yet, in this video, taken during Wright's 2007 Christmas services, "the Rev" places Obama in the congregation, by saying, "There is a man here, who can take this country in a new direction" and he points.

Wright continues, "Barack knows what it means to be a black man living in a country and a process that is controlled by rich white men, Hillary can never know that, Hillary ain't ever been called a nigger!"

While Wright rails, "Bill did us like he did Monica Lewinsky," Wright's successor, Otis Moss III, jumps into the picture frame, attempting to high-five "the Rev."

When Obama said, "Had I heard them in church ..." Obama lied.  He attended that 2007 Christmas service, he heard those words and he didn't say anything.

These two men, Obama and Wright, are two peas in the same pod.

And before I get feedback from the morla relatavists, remember, it was Obama, himself, that wrote these words in "'Dreams of My Father," -- "I found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race."

And, please notice the congregation in that video.  They are going nuts during Wright's preaching.  All of them believe this "evil white man" crap and eat it up.

The whole bunch of them are the worst kinds of hateful racists -- and remember, Wright's congregation is composed of successful, educated African-Americans.

My ass. You went there 20 years you lying bastard. This guy was like your surrogate black daddy...married you, baptized your kids, you gave him tens of thousands and appointed him to boards and committees.

If you were black and had a real media on your butt, you'd be withdrawing from the race.

“Obama had to go on the offensive, considering how hard his campaign was hit by the negative coverage.”

“Negative coverage” = facts.

If ANY Republican candidate EVER received 1/10 of the cover and excuse making the LeftMedia routinely doles out for the Democrats, they would win in a landslide.

The information about Rev. Wright was known when Hussein Obama ran for Senate. I know of it last year and I don't live in Illinois. Strange that no fuss about it until now. Do I detect the Clintons behind it? One simply has to look at the coverup of the many Clinton Scandals.

While Obama is ahead, should Hillary happen to win the nomination, I expect McCain will be in for a bigger trashing re: his adultery, his controversial stands on terrorists and POWs, rumors of him being the Manchurian Candidate, his mental stand. No matter that Hillary does not have clean hands.

Sometimes I think this could not possibly be true that we have such horrible candidates for president as this trio with not one of them qualified.

How could Obama be "shocked" by Wright's disgusting rhetoric when video is coming out showing Obama nodding in agreement during one of Wright's rants.

This guy is through. The more he tries to distance himself from his former pastor, the more weasley he is going to look. In case you haven't noticed, Obama is a terrible liar.

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

The fact is that Obama remained in this anti-American and racist church for TWENTY YEARS. It takes a pretty dense person to believe Obama did not know what his pastor was teaching. This is a very dangerous issue and, unless Obama is just a Christmas- and Easter-day church attendee, his explanations smell to high heaven. Literally.

I do not think Barry is a hater like his pastor. He is a hoper, hoping beyond hope that a black man with a Muslim name who has ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING in his life can get VERY LUCKY and be elected the leader of the free world. It is an open question who gets the Democrat nomination a do nothing like Barry or Hillary who DID the crime while Webb did the time.

Despite winning the Mississippi primary and increasing his lead in convention delegates, he was thrown off stride ...

I wonder.
I really don't see much except media blather, and the small yet salient note that Obama is still widening his delegate lead.
The MSM is ponderously, but surely, turning (mostly) to the pro hillary slant on everything news.

He is going to win NC big and split Pennsylvania as expected so little has changed that I see except more media blather.

Nobody on the right was ever going to vote for this dangerous fool, and few of his avid, if not rabid, supporters are deserting him in the few remaining primary states.

The only reason for all of this that I see at this time is to bolster the case to be made at the convention that he is unelectable in the general election.

Interesting times ahead, and I hope you all have bought popcorn futures.

When will somebody DEMAND that Obama answer these questions: 1) Do you hold America responsible for the attacks of 9/11? 2) Do you believe, as pastor Wright believes, that America has murdered millions around the world? 3) Do you believe that America is a white racist state? 4) Do you believe that black racist preachers like Jeremiah Wright are being kept from leaving America? And, if not, have you suggested that he leave? 5) Do you believe that your wife has been denied a first class education and a first class position? 6) Do you believe that “God Bless America” cannot be sung by a black person? 7) Do you believe that God should damn America? 8) Do you believe that an American flag pin on your lapel would alienate your America-hating supporters? 9) Do you believe that any faithful member of Jeremiah Wright’s church does not believe his repeated messages of hate for America? 10) Do you believe that any man who counts him a close friend can still be an American patriot?
And, if so, how? 11) Do you believe that your slick moves and smooth words will carry you to the White House, then, to carry-out Jeremiah Wright’s wish to damn America?

ABC News political consultant Mark Halperin, also of Time Magazine, said Obama had to go on the offensive, considering how hard his campaign was hit by the negative coverage.

True conviction will outweigh the negative coverage.

Obama will offend the USA and our way of life without a scare created, right?
