The Obama campaign says they have no plans to ask the Rev. Jeremiah Wright to step down from a campaign spiritual advisory committee. They're stressing that this committee -- the African American Religious Leadership Committee -- was a laundry list of people associated with the campaign and didn't really do anything. The group never actually met.
They say Wright has no formal role on the campaign (unlike some others on this committe who do have a formal role in faith-based outreach). They say he was included mostly out of respect to his long relationship with Obama.
Aides say he was not present during the Christmas 2007 sermon or the post-Sept. 11 sermon. They weren't sure about some of the others in question, are not sure when the last time the two spoke, and they stressed they don't speak frequently.

...better yet he won't drop him as his spiritual advisee for his campaign
“uses it?....theyre behind it”
Partially. TEAMOBAMA has been whipping up the Black frenzy in the event of Hillary stealing the nomination.
Rush mentioned on his show, the Obama supporters are expecting this.
Till yesterday, Hussein was defending Wright vehemently. The only reason he is denouncing Wright’s words now is because this story in now in the public domain (thanks to an unintended MSM report).
It’s worse than that.....Jeremiah ain’t no UNCLE.....it’s not like Obama had no choice this guy was related to him.....he CHOSE HIM!!!!
Sure, like Obama, he didn’t really “do” anything. And praise the Lord for that! Because it’s what he SAID that worries me. I shudder to think what he would actually DO. (and in the previous sentence, you can insert Obama or Wright for the “he;” makes no difference to the context).
...so were we
Hussein is a member of the UnAmerican Democrat Party, a party full of admitted communists and socialists, who work daily to destroy the United States.
Hussein and his congregation stand up and salute this creepy bastard.

I’d like to know with which of Wright’s statements Obama agrees.
Could Rev. Wright be dealing with his own personal issues (ie, self loathing)? Is he bi-racial as well? Just asking...
I don’t see Oprah as a ‘hater’ more of a ‘controller’ type. I have noted on other threads too...I wonder who Michelle O gets along (privately) with Oprah? Hmmmmmmmm.....
Rush pounded this story today as I was driving back. It really is the story the drive-bys don’t want to write.
I fully agree!!! The talk radio guys (Rush, Hannity, etc) are the ones who pushed this storyline at this time. In doing so they really screwed up big time. By releasing it now, they make it easier for voters in PA, FL, MI and NC to abandon Obama. Then Hillary won't be seen as "stealing" the nomination at the convention.
I think that some of the talk show hosts (especially Rush) were so angry that the MSM picked our candidate for us that they couldn't pass up the opportunity to try impacting the Dems nomination. Its times like this that I think Rush needs to hang up the microphone and get on with the rest of his life.
Notice, now, MSNBC has picked this up. First, it was only Rush and ABC. The cancer metastacizes.
I stopped watching Oprah when I realized that she’d allowed Gary Zukav to use mass hypnosis on her audience.
The Revvum Wright most certainly is biracial. He’s lighter-skinned that Obama, who is half white.
