U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey said on Friday he hoped the six Guantanamo prisoners charged with the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington would not receive the death penalty.

Try the 6 Gitmo prisoners connected to 9/11 with a military tribunal so that we can execute them. I don't understand why the Bush administration is letting this get dragged out. These prisoner's life expectancy will only increase in the next administration.

I don't agree with him, but he has a valid point, and it's not about leniency.
Oh, please, anything we do to them (unless we give them the Congressional Medal of Honor, which will probably happen if Osama Obama gets elected) will make them portray themselves as victims.
Hang the b*st*rds with an insufficent drop. Make sure the trap door they fall through is too small for an unimpeded fall. Cremeate the remains and scatter them by air over an undisclosed body of water so they don't become a future shrine.
A little pig fat smeared on them just prior to their hanging would be a nice touch too.
