I’m guessing they jsut happened to forget the cameras for the “levitated, and demonstrating paranormal psychic powers” portion of the exam.
Yup, that was my first thought, too. Then again, if/when the very rare (as noted in the article) possessions occur, what would make one believe that such technological device would be permitted to work by the entity/entities involved? If demons are real and really can posses people, preventing technological recording of their acts would probably be a simple matter for them. After all, something that can affect the electrical process in a person's brain and nervous system -- most certainly a requirement for possession -- certainly could screw up a cameera. This would certainly be something such an entity would want to do because verifiable proof of demonic activity more than implies the existence of the opposite, namely God.
And even if there were recordings/photos, what would that prove? Such are far too easy to fake these days.
PS Not saying that I buy into this, but won't completely discount the possibility. Then again, I am a skeptic by nature, so certainly don't consider this unsubstantiated, albeit well written, article by one person to be proof of anything.
Just like UFOs become scarce when camcorders become popular in a region.
If recordings were made, chances are that they would not be made public. The goal of this team would be to heal the individual. Note that the individual's name has not been released. A YouTube release, which would have both believers and skeptics, would make recovery difficult for the individual because of privacy issues.
The comparison with UFOs (made by other posters) is silly. First of all, there ARE videos of UFOs (note how credible they are). Second, there are no issues of privacy associated with any alleged UFO sighting.
Cameras have a bad habit of “dying” when used for such purposes.
Did you notice that the objects moving about and the levitation happened while she was being “restrained?”
I attended a presentation by a Lutheran Pastor who related experiences with the occult in earlier years. The presentation, like all of them for this particular conference, was to be recorded. The speaker said that, on every occasion where attempts have been made to record his presentation, the recording does not turn out. On one occasion the result was audible radio communication between local bus drivers.
I paid for a cassette tape of every presentation made during this conference, but when the order arrived, this tape was omitted. It did not turn out. I would be curious to know if any attempts were made to record the occurences referenced here, and if so, what was the result.
