I once again had hit a writers block with almost nothing to write about for the last couple of days. Lately I have heard a lot of my fellow Republicans saying how they will never ever ever vote for McCain because of the times he has backstabbed us. I understood why many of you are angry, and why many people feel that there is nothing that Mac can say or do to re-earn your trust. If Bush, my favorite President of all time, (yes even over Reagan) were running again, many of you I suspect would be saying the same thing about him. Again I understand, the big spending has been out of control under the Bush years, and in the Senate, many people consider comprehensive immigration reform to be an abomination (although I disagree), and most of us find McCain-Feingold at the worst, one of the new sins that should have been rolled out today when Pope Benedict was talking about mortal sins, and best, unconstitutional. But I was going through my journal today from high school, and I remembered why I will proudly vote for John McCain for President, and give him as much of my money as I am physically able to. Because I never want to see this again in my life.
I never want to explain these images to my son in his lifetime, and have him come home with the same anger and sense of frustration that I felt on September 11, 2001. Seeing this image still brings back such pain and anger that I felt, watching the towers collapse. Seeing our President and the Attorney General later that day swear that we will seek justice for those who have...

If Bush, my favorite President of all time
McCain’s replacement in the senate would probably be a lot better than Hillary’s or Obama’s, and a lot better than McCain.
Haven’t you heard? The only true conservatives are for open borders and the sale of America.
One of the main theme’s McCain has been touting is smaller government and less regulation.
I disagree with Bush on several counts but he history will prove him to be a good president and I for one will miss him if for nothing else the class that will soon vacate the WH, no matter who is elected.
In comparison to what our choices are in November I’d take GW again and twice on Sunday.
Don’t bet on it the other senator from AZ is Kyl who votes just like McCain so they have a pattern there.
If Jorge had started his presidency by making a clean sweep of dug-in demoKKKrats throughout govt. as he should have, with any luck at all he’d have found out about the Jamie-Gorilla “wall” and removed it and 9-11 probably would not have happened. The Gorilla wall was there for the purpose of keeping the FBI out of Chinagate.
Heard that before.
Problem is, you can't have those at the same time you are throwing the doors wide open to millions of illegals to come in and exploit the system.
:)
Well, thanks to McCain's love of rewarding illegal invaders, and his plain intention of leaving our borders open to al Qaeda, rest assured that the author's son will see these atrocities come to pass...and in spades.
That's the new meme. The old one was, "If you don't vote for Duncan Hunter, then you're an America-hating commie pinko sell-out".
Kyl has been much better than McCain in his term in office. That is just flat wrong.
Amen. I agree. You don't know what you've got til it's gone.
This author is obviously mentally ill.
McCain will get my vote AFTER he sets forth the immediate repeal of the free speech blackout periods contained in his CFR law. Until then, the oath of office and Constitution violator can choke on it.
