What’s there to be sorry about? That’s the whole basis of identity politics, where what group you belong to is more important than what you think and want as a person. If that’s how someone wants to define their social identity, they’re free to do so. I prefer the older meaning of citizenship.

Not a big fan of O’Reilly, he was on the radio while I was driving and he’s less obnoxious than CBS news, if only a little. He sure likes Obama, apparently. Weird.
To O’Reilly’s credit, he aired several of the hate mongering pastor’s speeches today. These vile speeches by Obama’s mentor speak for themselves - enough to disqualify Obama from public office. Yet O’Reilly has for weeks seemed to be following someone else’s political agenda when he disagrees with caller after caller who see what Obama really is. It’s become predictable that O’Reilly will respond, “I don’t think so,” and then have some praise for the invented candidate, Obama.

His pastor sounds like a coward and hate monger. Always ready with the excuses to hold his people back shall we say.

First, in America, you can say things like I just heard, and for that reason alone, should or could allow Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama to be proud to be an American. Not to mention the person who listens and believe such talk against Americans to actually run for the highest office in this country that their minister hates.
And my final thought is ... their children are being taught this hate.
Speaking just for myself, I would never ever intentionally contribute or support a a place that speaks such. For someone to do so, says to me they do believe and support those thoughts.
Nothing good can come from those words. I call it hate talk!!!

I think there might be a lot of onthedownlow at the church. the gay choir director was murdered in December 2007. This is the first black church to have an open door policy for single gays and lesbians.

It just kills me when the media try and compare this nut to Hagee’s endorsement of McCain. Obama chooses to associate with this screwball, McCain doesn’t associate with Hagee, he just came out on his own and endorsed McCain. Totally different situations. As for Obama and his so-called pastor, you know the old saying, birds of a feather flock together...
