So why does the House need privacy unless they have something to hide?

I’m sure the “leak-proof” congress will keep all of this secret from the public. LOL!

Wait a second. They had the place swept so no one could eavesdrop on their discussion of eavesdropping? Too funny.

The way W responded to it, he looked like he had given up. Just lowering his gaze, trying to be assertive, but still looking meek.

It’s about time Congress didn’t debate national security tools in front of the world.

House Democratic leaders agreed Thursday to a rare closed-door session the first in 25 years I'm confused. I thought the democrats just did this a couple of years ago?
To: gondramB
In this case, the REPUBLICANS are asking for this, and the democrats didn’t want to do it but they have no real choice.
The Democrats are afraid that the Republicans will bring up classified information that will then make it impossible for the democrats to make their pretty speeches in open session because they will have heard the classified information.

I hope you were being sarcastic. The evidence that is going to be presented would compromise ongoing surveillance operations.

So much for Peloski’s “transparency” in govt.
