That’s the way Ashley Alexandra “Kristen” Dupré will be remembered. Not as a young woman with potential, as are all of our young women. No, she’s now known as the $4,300-an-hour ho who brought down the Governor of New York.
Many in our entertainment intelligentsia consider prostitution a victimless crime, thus Ashley Alexandra “Kristen” Dupré’s activities are going to be her ticket to fame and fortune. She’s probably already received many offers from agents who know they can sell her name, face, “voice” and body. They know there will be interested parties waiting to exploit her newfound fame, or infamy depending how you look at it.
As usual with this generation, it’s all about her. On her MySpace page she wrote,
I am all about my music, and my music is all about me…. It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel. I live in New York and am on top of the world.
Well, if she could make it there, she can make it anywhere.

Granted, unlike Eliot Spitzer who gleefully put people in jail as New York’s attorney general and has no sympathy coming his way from the public, Ashley Alexandra “Kristen” Dupré may give community service a new name and will come out of this a rich woman. She may get a book deal, recording contract, or a modeling gig. She probably won’t be earning $4,300-an-hour, but she will be able to work, for the most part, standing up.
Personally, I’m hoping her name becomes a noun.

I have no doubt it's true. No self worth. LOW self esteem. NO empowerment. Prostitution is not and never had been a “victimless rime”. These are human beings that are EXPLOITED. The one being exploited digs a deeper hole for themselves when they take the bait.
I have no doubt this girl could have done better in life that to have laid on her back for $$$ or perhaps other degrading positions ... . Even working at McDonalds allows a person to have more dignity and self respect. IT's too bad people prey of the troubled - that's what happened here. She will never live it down. Her clain to fame is being a whore. Other exploiters like Playboy will throw money at her to better their own wallets and she'll get the crumbs along with the LOW self esteem, lack of empowerment etc.. Maybe though, her Mom will finally step in and BA A MOM and stop this down hill slide.
She is no victim. Yes she had a hard upbringing but she is now 22 and fully culpable and could take a new direction if she wanted. The victims here are the whoremongers 3 children. I feel less sympathetic to mom as she knew this was going on or she is a complete dolt.
The female morning show hosts are trying to say stuff like, “well if you hubby travels a lot you may not know...etc” .
I also heard the Mr. Spitzer said back during the Hillary/Bill news conference when Hillary stood behind Bill that she said, “that wouldn’t be me I’d be gone”.
The venom on this thread amazes me. Everyone hates Spitzer, but why you folks have to beat up on this misguided soul is beyond me.
I hope she goes the way of Donna Rice Hughes and turns her life around.

I've seen her pictures. If she's "smokin hot," then the New Jersey beaches were packed with tens of thousands of "smokin hot" chicks when I was a young man, back in the early seventies.
Good grief. She's a "smokin hot" as any healty twenty-somthing American girl who hasn't pigged out on Taco Bell Big Burritos and Big Gulp sodas. Give me a break.

Her mom is a loser (what a surprise, huh? NOT!). I read somewhere that the mom said that her daughter could handle a man like Spitzer, as if she was proud of her daughter's behavior.

Interesting that THE SPITZ wanted a classical music CD for his “hour” and I am betting that Kristin the musical artist is not a classsical music composer/performer.
