The Duke of Westminster: so rich and so very foolish (CNBC suggests he is Client No. 6)

Britain's richest man was exposed as a serial user of prostitutes yesterday.

The Duke of Westminster, who is worth £6.6billion and is the country's biggest landowner, paid for four vice-girls in six weeks to visit his mews house in the West End of London.

Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, 55, who is head of the Territorial Army, was said by the News of the World to have openly discussed military matters and Osama Bin Laden.

He declined to comment on the claims, which must inevitably raise questions over his suitability to lead the TA.

Reckless, boastful, stupid, weak - such lacerating words hardly exaggerate the case against the Duke of Westminster.

Bragging to prostitutes that he knew the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden, taking security risks by allowing the mainly East European girls to know exactly who he is - this is a significant figure who should be keeping his mouth closed and commanding respect as head of the Territorial Army, many of whose part time soldiers are on active service in Iraq and Afghanistan, and some of whom have been killed and injured.

Incredibly, the same man was also entrusted by the Prince of Wales with the responsibility of acting as private mentor and guide to Prince William, now an Army officer himself....

I suspect that “security agencies” on both sides of the Atlantic are trying to get this foolish man “kicked out of the loop” so speak. He is just an intellegence disaster waiting to happen. Other johns who probably don’t matter. That’s why we’re hearing about this guy now.
