Looks like the driver.
Yep, I don’t have to eat my hat or donate to FR.
The guy in the store wasn’t the driver.
They have two so far. The driver and the guy in the store.
The guy in the store was probably the guy in the back of the SUV when it was at the ATM.
Snoop Dog hairstyle
I hope these two beasts meet with an unfortunate accident long before the trial.
All you need is one anyway, they’ll rat their partners out as a general rule. No doubt this occurred in this case too.
Hopefully the cut on Atwater’s face is related to Eve scratching the crap out of him and getting him under her nails.
I never hear of white guys killing black women for no damn reason.....except to get her car for a while and some ATM money. These kids are brain damaged by drugs I’ll bet. Live a world of illusions
I'll bet several people ratted these guys out. The police were pretty sure they had the right guys when they went in.
And not ratting out the corner drug dealer who helps his mama pay the rent is one thing. These guys were stone-cold psychopaths. Even their neighbors are probably happy to have them off the streets.
Yep. We were right. The clue for me was the black jacket. The driver would have to be a quick change artist between the atm and the convenience store to change from a light to black jacket. The guy in the back seat appeared to have on a black jacket.
I keep hearing the second guy is still at large, after reading reports that he was captured in a standoff at an intersection. Which story is correct?
Where did you hear about catching him at an intersection?
This is all I can find:

The search for Lovette intensified in Durham late Wednesday afternoon with police following up on tips of his whereabouts, including one on Duke Street and a two-hour standoff at a house near the intersection of Shepherd and Proctor streets, a few blocks from where Atwater was detained.
That home is owned by Melissa Lovette, who neighbors said is likely Lawrence Lovettes grandmother.
Officers removed children from a day care operation inside and monitored the house for more than two hours before throwing concussion grenades inside and conducting a search of the premises.
SEU officers left a few minutes later, and Lovette never emerged. Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation then moved in to collect evidence.
The afternoon drama included the evacuation of surrounding homes and the dismissal of students from Morehead Montessori School across the street. Parents were called to pick up their children from the schools gymnasium, which is on the far side of the building from the police activity.
Neighbors were stunned by the police action.
Ms. Lovette is such a sweet neighbor, a sweet lady, Jon Fish said. Weve seen Lawrence out shooting baskets hundreds of times.

just wanted to bump this up and say good eye on that one. I was about to make a post earlier today saying you were completely WRONG on that but apparently, it's not the same guy.
Some posts say they caught the second guy and some don't. Is the second guy still on the run? anyone?
Supposedly, this is the 17 year old’s myspace page:

Under the name Alvin Lovette.
He hasn’t been caught yet as far as I know. I guess he wasn’t at the house.
I win...Durham “home” to these vermin as predicted.
Durham can’t hold them all - they overflow to Chapel Hill, to Raleigh, and all around.
Durham is a crime cesspool.
Looks like this suspect has a little contusion on his right cheek.....in the struggle someone must have, um, used force...GOOD!
Very well said!!!
Remember there was that one black man who came forward and helped Reginald Denny, the truck driver who was beaten almost to death during the Rodney King riots.
Lovette seems to definitely be the SUV driver, doesn’t he?
Good work, Police!!!!
Good work, FReeper online “investigators” to see the 2nd person in the SUV....before they had photos of the 2nd guy at a store.
I thought you were being kind.
