I think it is the same guy both in the store and in the car.
Two things. I think maybe it should be said someone 'did the right thing' rather than "ratted him out," if that's what actually happened. It could very well be that investigators knew the man from his pic. I'm sure we'll find all that out in time.
The second thing is it took a bit of time as it was. Nowhere evident were protesters, potbangers and others DEMANDING police action like we had two years ago.
Someone will hang the jury
looks like the guy to me.
Look up the differential treatment women receive when capital crimes are involved. Blanche Moore is a victim too, don’t you know?
Shortly before 11 a.m., officers escorted two people with their heads covered from behind the Chapel Hill Police Department, put them in an unmarked car and drove away, WRAL's Amanda Lamb reports.
Two people... So maybe they got the driver and the back-seat guy?
Hopefully - but that paragraph has now been removed from the article... interesting!
Sorry about the other post, I asked the mod to delete it. But I hope that they have the right guy.
If the guy in the store is the driver, I’ll eat my hat.
Better yet, I’ll make a donation to FR. :-)
get yer checkbook out...
Would ya be willing to become a monthy? Love to have ya on board.
We’ll see.
If they ever get this press conference going...
If this is the guy in the store and not the driver, they don’t have much on him except being in the store when the card was used.
My checkbook stays warm... :-)
“The other day the residents of that area were all being slammed because nobody had yet ratted him out. Let me be the first to say it...”
And those comments were coming from people who had NO idea whatsoever whether or not police were getting tips. Folks who just assumed the worst of anybody who might recognize the perp. Pretty sad.
Ping!
Heavily armed Durham police have responded to a disturbance at the intersection of Shepherd and Proctor streets. Durham City Councilman Eugene Brown told WRAL that police are engaged in a standoff with a second suspect in Eve Carson’s slaying.
Arrest has been made- name released- PRess conf coming up in 30 minutes
