Barack McGovern Obama? It’s up to you
The Collins Report ^ | March 12, 2008 | John F. Allen

Now that even Rush is speaking truthfully about the election, some inescapable facts need to be considered.

Forget Obama’s given middle name. It won’t be important. By Election Day everyone will think of his middle name as McGovern.

Barack McGovern Osama will lose by a wide margin for the following reasons:

* Twenty percent of White Democrats already ADMIT they will not vote for him (Pew). Moreover they say they WILL vote for McCain, a double hit.

*No one can win giving away 20% of his base.

* Forty three percent over all ADMIT they will not vote for him ( Rasmussen).

*Since 1964 no Democrat has won the White male vote. It is my opinion that he won’t bring them back nor will he do even as well as the last two losers who were White males.

* McCain is already plus 15 Tenn., 11 Florida and 2 New Jersey, inconvenient facts for the “experts” predicting a big Democrat win.

*Orthodox Jews, a very important group in New York, say they will not vote for him. Because of Spitzer, Obama will have to campaign in New York with a blind Black governor. This fact put New York in play no matter what anyone says.

Barack McGovern Osama’s campaign will be stillborn. He can only win is if those who should know better stay home or vote for him. They will be responsible for making America a socialist country and giving joy and aid to our terrorist Islamist enemies who will see an Obama win as a sign that we are surrendering.

Maybe it is time for the pious breast beaters to stop their promotion of the conservative movement over the safety and wellbeing of America. Rebuilding conservatism will be much easier than repairing the damage Barack McGovern Osama will do.

With the election of Carson in Indiana, yet another Muslim, the stakes just got higher. At what point is the point made that conservatives don't like McCain? At what point do conservatives decide to save the country from a worse evil than it has ever faced? McCain can not do near the damage Obama will do. And what damage he does do can be repaired. I think we have to come to the realization that being a conservative means constantly explaining and defending our positions. There is no rest. There is no ultimate long lasting victory because the evil of liberalism is always out there waiting to pull America down. Voting in any way to help put Obama in office is not patriotic, it is suicidal.

"Hyperbole much? "

No, just the plain honest facts. You can continue to suck your thumb and whine about not getting your way, but hopefully, you will grow up and consider the big picture, rather than your little slice.

Winning is always better than losing.

Anybody who advocates winning by losing is just spinning fantasies and not dealing with reality.

Back when I was a young pup, I was involved in Democrat politics in PG County, Maryland, through my Mom. The PG Democrats had a great idea. Their current County Executive was term limited out, but could run again in two years. So their great idea was to run a truly awful candidate (Marshal was his name), who would lose to the Republican, but their favored Democrat could run again in two years and re-gain the seat in what was always a solidly Democrat county.

Well, of course, nobody told my Mom that Marshal was supposed to lose, so we beat our brains out trying to get him elected. And every time we made progress, he would go say or do something stupid, so it was really tough sledding. We never figured out if Marshal was trying to lose or if he was really just that stupid.

Well, long story short, Marshal went down in flames in spite of our best efforts, and the Republican wound up holding that seat for the next ten years.

Losing is losing. The only thing you can do by losing is lose.

Looking at the Mississippi results and the flap over Ferraro’s comments, the Dem. nomination is slowly becoming a Balck Versus White racial race. By the time they nominate somebody, the opposing sides will hate each other more than they do the Republican nominee. This was the kind of stuff Rush was alluding to when he urged people in Ohio and TX to vote for Hillary. Latest polls out of PA show Hillary with an almost 20 point lead. If that holds, this will be real ugly down to the end. Got to love it!

He has a choice here, he can take the hit for the 20% of white dems that wont vote for Obama or the 50% hit of the AMERICAN PEOPLE against Hill. Personally, I think Obama has the better shot. LOL

The fact that McQueeg attracts Democrats like this is pretty scary, too.

Unless conservatives all stay home on election day, I am beginning to think it is growing less likely we will see a Democrat in the White House come 2009. If Hillary wins the nomination it will be skulduggery that will alienate a lot of Obama supporters. Hillary already has a large number of voters who wouldn't vote for her period. Obama could well be McGovern redux. If he gets the nomination, he will have to flesh out his pie in the sky change vision and in doing so will show himself to be naive, inexperienced and too far to the left.

If I was wrong, and these two go all the way to the convention, cutting each other to ribbons, and Obama the nominee goes down in flames, I will make sure I let everybody I chastized for following Rush’s advice know that they were right, I was wrong, and allow them to heap scorn upon me.

However, I still think it was the wrong call to listen to Rush. You just don’t pass up chances to sink the Clintons. Such chances are exceedingly rare.
