Well, for one thing, we have a far keener eye for detail and a better memory for detail. And those two factors make detail more interesting to us than to men, I suspect.

I don't concur. Its the subject. My wife can't tell one airplane from another, can't remember the slightest thing about any number of things that fascinate me, but she is acutely interested in what other women are wearing.

I'll remember the beer, she'll remember the shoes.

Have you ever asked yourself why a woman would ask a man something like "Do I look fat in this?"

It sure as hell isn't to get an honest answer. I know that! They ask a man because its the husband, and he's the only one present while she's getting dressed. She'd certainly much rather ask one of her girlfriends who has the slightest clue as to what she means by "looking fat". To a man, you are either fat or not fat, and changing the dress ain't going to help.

Here’s a hint===

The question is “Does it make me look fat?”

The answer that I would give? “That style/cut/color isn’t the best for you...but the ______ outfit that you wore last week looks SO good and makes your legs look stunning.”

Honest answer, no damage done.

Unless you want a divorce, then I’d stick to your last sentence.
