It's hard to pin down exactly where the Governor was when the call to an escort service was made last month, but he probably wasn't far from Shorty's Bar and Grill in Niagara Falls.
WEB EXTRA You can also find this story, along with other stories on Niagara Falls on the Niagara Falls website.
The Governor's schedule shows, February 13th, Governor Eliot Spitzer was in Western New York. First, he attended an event at UB around 1:15, then he came to Shorty's in Niagara Falls.
2-On-Your-Side cameras were there on February 13th when Spitzer held the meeting behind closed doors. He then came out to meet briefly with the media before saying he had to catch a plane for Washington, where he was to testify the following day.
His public schedule lists the event from 2:45pm until 3:30pm.
Paul Talarico, Co-Owner, Shorty's, "He was supposed to be here about 2:30pm, I think he came a few minutes after that."
But where was the Governor at 3:20pm?
Talarico, "I'm not sure the exact time he was here it was somewhere between 2:45pm, 3:15pm, 3:20pm."
3:20pm. That's around the time a federal indictment says client number 9, who NBC News has identified as Eliot Spitzer, made a phone call to arrange for an escort. But, exactly when did that phone call happen?
It could have been before the Governor got out of his car in Niagara Falls.
Anthony Fasciano, Co-Owner of Shorty's, "There was a little delay, we waited for the Governor he was just running a little late."
Fasciano adds he sat in the car alone for a few minutes.
"State Police said he was on an important phone call inside his black Tahoe he arrived in."
It could have been during his brief meeting here at Shorty's Bar and Grill, although owners say they don't remember him making a call inside their establishment.
Paul Talarico, "He was actually sitting over here. His back was turned and I didn't even see him on a cell phone."
Or, the Governor could have made the call after the meeting.
Spitzer was at Shorty's to talk about economic development. Among those officials at the meeting, Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster.
The Governor left Niagara Falls and then went on Washington, D.C.
Tomorrow probably in New York they will apply SHARIA Law, now, I wonder what will happen to them both.
Hoisted by his own peetard.
Spitzer threw Richard Baum and Darren Dopp under the bus over troopergate.
Wonder how much those two know.
jeez,
What's the rest of it?
Man we’re old.
In the version that I heard it was "Shorty's Bar and Grill, Chattanooga, Tennessee."
