People aren't going to pay the big dollars in tuition to have their daughters raped and sons strong arm robbed while walking home from the library.

That the Marquette area is one of the safest in Milwaukee shows how violent the city has become.

Men's BB? Out in the first round.

Milwaukee police said it's one of the safest areas in the city... I sure wouldn't want to be walking around down there -- or having one of my kids walking around there. Nearly 20 years ago my neighbor's daughter transferred from Marquette to Santa Clara in CA after one year because of all the pan handling and creeps hanging around campus. And Fr. DiLulio wanted to close Wisconsin Ave. to make Marquette Plaza. Of course the town pols ran him out of town over that.

Even IF carrying on campus is against school rules, a small, low-caliber handgun should be concealable enough to avoid detection for CCW licensed individuals. Yes, it's a risk to take, but it is better to be judged by twelve than carried by six...

Two abductions? How terrifying, especially in light of what happened in AL and NC in the last week.

The legislature in WI has tried several times to get CCW passed for the citizens. It has been vetoed every time by the Democrat Governor.
