Eliot Spitzer lived by the sword. Now he’ll “die” by the sword.

He must have thought he was bullet-proof or made of Teflon.

I can’t think of a better person for all this to happen to.

I feel bad for his wife and daughters...but she is apparently a good lawyer and hopefully will get everything she needs to start over and provide for those kids...enough so that when Spitzer sees the light of day, he ends up with nothing.

That is exactly what he deserves. A complete airing of his corruption, A-Z, a lengthy prison sentence, and then a life of squalor so that folks can point to him as the icon of what not to be and how a lust for power and dominance can corrupt and destroy.

Good riddance.

I think Joe Bruno ought to send over to Elliot a big pic of himself, with a toothy ear-to-ear grin, signed with “best wishes, Joe”!

(For those who didn’t know, Mr. Bruno is the state politician that Spitzer sic’ced the state police on...)
