LOL, MSNBC is saying Spitzer had a line of credit with this escort service.

I wonder if Joe Bruno dropped a dime on him. Hope so.Who knows. I think Bruno is a "Don't get mad, get even" kind of guy.

How did he get away with firing your wife? It's typical practice for an incoming Attorney General who is a different party from the outgoing Attorney General to fire a number of the staff to replace them with his own trusted crew of party insiders.
Spitzer broke from tradition by firing nearly every last professional employee of the AG's office, including a large number of first year attorneys.
All of first years discharged were Republicans.
The move was criticized at the time, but not much.

He hasn't resigned.
For that matter, after hearing his announcement for the second time and “reading between the lines”, I don't think he has any intention of resigning.

He’ll have to resign. The Feds have him dead to rights. CNBC is suggesting that he has already cut a deal with the Feds to resign and they will withdraw the indictment.

So - he has a liaison with a prostitue on Feb. 13th in D.C. I wonder what he gave his wife for Valentines Day this year?Probably Chlamydia..
BTW, the time line doesn't fit here..
He's accused of a liason on Feb 13th, but the sealed complaint identifying him is dated Feb 7th.
Do we assume he was a regular client?

Do we assume he was a regular client?Supposedly he had a tab with the place.
And the apparent business model was to pursue lucrative repeat business from an exclusive list of high-end clients.

In Spitzer’s announcement he refers to this as “a private matter.”
Msnbc speculates about a plea deal that will allow him to keep his law license.

It might be better if he didn’t resign. The ongoing saga would make him completely ineffective and NY would then not have a governor. That would be a good thing.

What can they get him on? Illegal use of a communications device, crossing state lines for prostitution, conspiracy, money laundering, tax evasion, etc.

And if he'd made all those illegals legal, the market price for high quality panocha would be well below $5,500/hour.
