Contraception is usurping God’s domaine. If you believe that God creates life (I do), then why would you use contraception to prevent God from creating life?

Also, with contraception women become mere sex toys.

Yours truly,

So you either have a lot of kids, or no sex life.

Also, with contraception women become mere sex toys.

Who says it isn't the man who is the sex toy?

I figure God made doctors that made contraception. Given the verses sighted so far, I don’t see where it is prohibited, but to each his own.

In the Songs of Solomon, sex was good thing for a husband and wife to enjoy. I like that.

After our last kids, we don’t want anymore. I’ve suffered enough miscarriages (3), then went on 10 weeks of bedrest with our natural twins, and then our twins almost died. One of our twins has brain damage.

I don’t want to be pregnant ever again, and I still want to be close to my husband.

truly???

if i have five kids and having five more will take food from the table of the first five, just to give some scraps to the second five

have i sinned most if i do, or do not start to use condoms??

i thought most basic forms of contraception was so as to not be like the animals and use our god given reason, not to deny our natural passions but control their possible ill consequences if not balanced by actions derived from that reason

Maybe, just maybe it’s because I don’t want to spend 9 months out of every year pregnant? Because constant childbearing is really hard on a woman? Because husband and I are the only ones supporting our kids and it would be pretty hard to feed 15+ mouths daily? Or buy clothes or shoes, even at Goodwill? Because I couldn’t afford a bigger house and 7 kids would not fit into one bedroom here? Because I think that having more children than you can support is not responsible parenting? Because I don’t want to have to limit sexual contact with my husband to whenever?

I think I’d rather be a sex toy than a brood mare.
