The youth, glamour and dashing political style of Senator Barack Obama has evoked many comparisons with President John F Kennedy, but the most Kennedyesque member of the Obama family may be his wife Michelle...

"I thought about posting that link as a rebuttal regarding her voice. I decided against it based on where it will probably take a FR thread in 2008. Hang onto your hat."
I didn't even think about that, but now that you bring it to my attention, to what group of Spanish speaking people do you think she was directing that ad? I'm not a kid now, but I was still in grade school when Kennedy ran for president and have no active memory of his campaign.
Same age here. One version of it on You Tube says directed at the “Hispanic electorate”.
“Mrs Obama would be offended by living in something called the White House.”
Heh, heh! As First Big Mama, Michelle would change that offensive name to the “Diversity House”, or the “People’s House” or the “Inclusive House” or some such.
It’s ironic, really. The American majority was ready, even eager to like this handsome young family. Yes, a comparison to Bill Cosby’s beloved Huxtables is not inaccurate.
But Michelle O. is squandering public goodwill like she thinks it’s a renewable resource. Her husband must be curling his toes and thinking, “Dear, you’re killing me worse than Hillary and Rush!!”
I’ll bet Hillary is waiting for M.O. to show up in a pillbox hat, too. (the last time I remember Jackie O. in a pillbox hat was when JFK met his horrible fate).
Yes, it has been a production, right from the start. Rush mentioned that he could tell that Obama is a real orator, one who has studied the art of speech making and all the famous speakers and is capable of imitating them, not just their words, but their style, cadence and voice inflections. I noticed during the 2004 Democrat convention that Obama was using the style and cadence of a southern tent preacher when he gave his speech in front a Black audience. He used certain emotional buzz words that set the crowd to swaying to his cadence and then every time he said certain words, like God and hope, they would raise their arms in the air and sway even more to his cadence. It was like watching a Marjoe sermon. I wouldn’t be surprised if he read Marjoe’s book about how he controlled his audiences.
Completely spooky.
Tsk, tsk, tsk, be a little charitable toward your possible future “First Lady”.
I bet it was Teddy’s idea to market M.O. as Jackie O. to go with the comparison of Barack Hussein Obama to JFK. I wonder if they will call start referring to Obama by his initials.
I believe Jackie was also fairly quiet and not real “political”, except to back up her husband on his politics. And when she died, I remember commentators stating that most Americans rarely heard her speak.
Contrast that to Mrs. Obama, out complaining about her lot in life, race relations, George Bush, that state of our country, whatever. Other than the pearls and maybe the hair, I see no similarities at all.
I hope Ms. Michelle reads this and believes it—and keeps on talking. Most words out of her America-hating mouth are good for our side.
LOL
Not everyone thinks she channels Jackie O.
Some think she channels Sharpton:
“I am going to vote Maverick this fall, but had kind of started to like Obama. That is until his RACIST WIFE KEPT OPENENING HER MOUTH!!!! Her hatred for white people is soooo obvious.”

You, madman, are awesome.
Yet she still spent her life decorating and turning her head away from the obvious.
Excellent, and to the point, graphic, Phil!
I wish America was that mean to me. ;o)
I was being charitable. ;-)
She is what she is- mean and nasty.
Michelle should not even be compared to Jackie. Jackie was American and proud. Michelle is not proud of America. There is no comparison.

Definitely
