There is a big bundle of ethical issues from the 1990s that Obama has not raised because he can't associate himself with what partisan Democrats (but not Republicans or swing voters) regard as a pure GOP witch hunt.

In other words, he can't tear down the curtain of pretense that Dems put up.

"her oddly qualified response as to whether Obama is a Muslim ("not as far as I know")"

That WAS perhaps the most snarky, underhanded response I've ever heard from this MONSTER and I've heard many. (And no, I will not resign for having said this truth!)

kneecap an eloquent, inspiring, reform-minded young leader who happens to be the first serious African American presidential candidate (meanwhile cementing her own reputation for Nixonian ruthlessness) and then win a contested convention by persuading party elites to override the results at the polls.

She's in trouble if even The New Republic has figured out her plan.

Today it’s reported that Bill Clinton thinks a Clinton-Obama team (in some order) would be unstoppable. This is why Rush Limbaugh was wrong and the “stop her now” contingent was right. We may wind up with Clinton on the ticket even if she loses to Obama, because she lost narrowly and wasn’t discouraged.

I don't see a Obama/Clinton ticket. He is shrewed enough to know that would be a danger to his own life.

A Clinton/Obama ticket would put him on ice for 8 years. He might bargain that McCain if he won would be a one termer, so he could build up the his war chest and pad his resume for '12.

Rush Limbaugh was wrong because he forgot what the Clintons are! And forgot what they did to this country! Any patriot who remembers the Clinton years will remember that they not only disgraced our country, but also sold out our national security for money. Why would Rush Limbaugh, or any other patriot, be willing to play dice with America’s future?

Rush Limbaugh was wrong cause he wanted to be wrong, he is intelligent enough to know what Clintons are.

Rush Limbaugh makes a lot more money when a Clinton is in office, follow the money stupid.

That why I stopped listening to Rush Limbaugh years ago.

What's more, Clinton has benefited from a favorable gender dynamic that won't exist in the fall. (In the Democratic primary, female voters have outnumbered males by nearly three to two.)

As Donna Brazile, AlGore's large, black, lesbian campaign manager has stated, todays Dems are primarily women, blacks, lesbo/homos and "labor" unions.

Hillary’s negatives maybe at 50% today, but if she wins the nomination her negatives might be 70%.
Neither is going down easily and one has to go down, so it is going to be fun watching.
I can’t wait til florida and michigan file suit against the democratic party.

It is obvious why the Clintons are making these absurd remarks in the middle of a campaign they are losing. They are trying to convince super delegates and voters that they can get a twofer with Hillary's nomination. She will gladly offer him to be the VP. And she might even deign to serve as his VP. Now it is up to Obama to make a similar offer.

This is just plain nuts, but I put nothing past the Clintons and their perversions. It is sick.

Yes. Rush’s solution was, in effect, to keep Hillary politically alive so she could wind up a heartbeat away from the presidency.

A Clinton/Obama ticket would put him on ice for 8 years.

If he's lucky! But she hates him, so if forced to put him on her ticket, Hillary would likely drown him in a bucket of warm spit. A Vice-President would be an easy victim for her.

I can’t completely blame Rush for Hillary doing well in the last primaries; however, where Hillary is concerned I tend to think the “stop her now” idea was right.

Having said that, OBAMA seemed to let her knock him off-balance in the week before the recent primaries. He needs to learn to do like the Clintons do whenever they get “attached”, they mostly ignore it or else repeat,”I have done nothing wrong!” and then ignore it. He also needs to add some American flags to his rallies for color as well as WEAR more color and ask Michelle to wear some colored lip gloss or a colorful dress. He also needs a few signs with OBAMA on them - maybe his signature if he can write worth a flip (it would seem more personal than printed signs).
