I doubt the golfballs were flying past the tree when the hawk landed there. Blame the man because he, of his own volition, repeatedly took all actions necessary to create the situation whereby the hawk died.
Maybe the golf course designers should have just cut down all the trees when they bulldozed all of those acres to make a lawn for this yahoo to golf on.
He shot eight times at the tree. The man also drove after and tried to chase the hawk away earlier as well. The hawk came to him. And stayed there through eight balls flying by it.
