“And what specifically, did your beloved Clinton do to keep a barrel of oil at $25.00?”

Not my beloved Clinton. I didn’t vote for him. Apparently, however, the Republican Party from 1992 through the end of his term couldn’t find anyone to take him on and beat him, could they, despite the fact that they were able to take over the Congress? Some might argue, and indeed do, that the combination of McCain type Republicans in the Senate and conservatives in the House with Clinton as POTUS meant good times for the American people. Personally, I don’t buy that, but the American people did.

That in three years the price of a barrel of crude went up $17.00 while in seven years under Jorge it went up $81.00. Is there something about that which is confusing?

The fact that you want to blame Bush for oil going up, but not Clinton. Doesn’t really matter though, neither had the ability to manipulate the price of oil, had they wanted to.

Interestingly enough, i know how to drop the price of oil dramatically and could do it in 15 minutes.

The media talk started before the figures coming in to back it up.

We should have a bigger wave of homeless talk soon.

No one has been manipulating the economy since January of ‘01 except President Jorge and his Saudi Mohammedan and globalist buddies and their lackeys of both parties in Congress.

I'm guessing you are not aware that the Kennedy family, Al Gore and many other prominent Dems own oil interests. In fact; the Kennedy's have more invested in Texas oil then George W. Bush.

Now you can help me answer a quesion that's plagued me for years. Is ignorance REALLY bliss?

“...the Kennedy family, Al Gore and many other prominent Dems own oil interests>”

I’d count them among the “globalists”, GB. I am unaware, however, of any of them kissing Wahabbi monarchs, whinning about how much they love and respect the Religion of Peace and then attributing those sentiments to the American people at large, nor am I aware of any of them turning over hundreds of millions of the taxpayers’ dollars to jehadi Mohammedan terrorists. Now I don’t think any American should trust a man who’d do that sort of thing, seeing as how that money gets used and all.

You’re active duty military. Did you learn that sort of sarcastic disrespect in the military? Times seem to have changed.

Many Dems, including San Fran Nan, have visited terrorists sponsors. Teddy "The Fish" has a long history of dirty deals with our enemies. Barrack "Don't say my middle name" Obama wants to bomb our Pakistani "allies" and open a dialog with Iran.

I was out of line and I'm sorry.

One more thing; Kerry was talking about hiking taxes on gasoline while he ran against GWB.

UPDATE:

How Are You Enjoying the Change?

March 12th, 2008 12:43 pm h/t--Texas Rainmaker

A little over a year ago:

1. Consumer confidence stood at a 5-year high;
2. Regular gasoline averaged under $2.30 a gallon;
3. The unemployment rate was down to 4.4%.
4. Americans were enjoying historically-high home equity.

Since voting in a Democrat Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1. Consumer confidence plummet;
2. The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.25 a gallon;
3. Unemployment rise to 4.8% (a 9% increase);
4. American home equity hit the lowest point in six decades;

America voted for change in 2006… and change is what we got!
