Iran does not control Al-Qaeda.

Iran is Shiite muslim while Al-Qaeda is Sunni. And they're not overly fond of each other.

If Iran DID control Al-Qaeda, Dick Cheney would be the first one screaming about it, because it would justify his neocons' long-dreamed-of attack on Iran.

Religious sect is no longer a factor with AQ.

Iran is supporting and directing AQ in Iraq, Syria, Gaza, West Bank and Golan.
