Losing Alan Keyes is almost as serious a loss as losing Pat Buchanan. However will the Republican party get along without them.

Yeah, principled, well-spoken, consistent conservatism won't be much missed in the McCain "Republican" party, will it.

It's kinda like the Bill of Rights and our sovereign borders. Expendable.

Far less important than personal ambition, you know...

My biggest concern is having votes pulled away from our Repub nominee. Ouch. I was kinda glad hearing that Nader was joining the fray once again, as I’m no fan of either Dem. Not wild bout our “my dear friends” guy either but he is the better choice. Keyes to be the GOP’s version of Nader? This isn’t sounding like a very good idea... :(

I find it fascinating how the GOP seems to think that it can win elections by continually lopping off pieces it’s base.
