I ... don’t ... trust ... Arabs.

Ever hear of David Farah, for example? There are Christian and Jewish Arabs y'know, in fact there are FReepers here who fit that demography. I can understand how you wouldn't trust Muslims, but saying ALL Arabs are untrustworthy is ridiculous.

From TheReligionofPeace.com: "Pre-judging an individual by their group identity is not only unethical, it is blatantly irrational, since it tells nothing about them. Every individual should be judged only on the basis of their own words and deeds."

G8 Diplomat,

Unlike the impish schoolyard taunts and silly tele-psychoanalysis of the pathetic katsup, at least yours is a reasoned argument.

David Farrah has proven himself, indeed, and I yield to your well taken point.

However, the overwhelming preponderance of ethnic and cultural Arabs, whatever the religion or lack thereof, exhibits a wanton and unabashed hatred for Israel and Jewry. Hence my prejudicial distrust of them as a matter of precaution.

That does not mean that individuals, such as David Farrah, cannot earn my respect and trust. There is also the Lebanese Christian lady, Brigitte Gabrielle, who wrote Obsession, Radical Islam's War against the West.

If I remember correctly, in her book, she contrasts her treatment at the hands of Lebanese Moslems and her treatment in a Jewish hospital in Israel. The irony of the stark contrast between the humanitarian outlook of the Israeli Jews as a people and the misanthropic outlook of her own countrymen was not lost on her.

As for general Abizaid, he has shown himself untrustworthy by commenting about the conduct of a war in wartime using sensitive, albeit dated, information he was privileged to receive in the confidence of his government.
