My favorite way to view FR is the active comments in the news/activism forum,

or what ever forum I’m in, add a me too here.

Like you...CHANGE is hard for someone of our years. However, we must trust in your very fine judgment. I put each forum in a different color. I like it!

I'm beginning to come out of my FredHead funk. I still believe with all my heart and soul FRED would have made a very fine President. Good VP...but I don't think that will happen. I'll vote for McCain, but he will have to prove to me in the next few months through his actions, like on the upcoming bills out of the House. Enforcement can be the number one winning issue if he means what he says now. “He heard us.”

We'll see! Thanks again...It think it will be a hit!!!

I haven’t noticed much difference in the format, not that I was looking.

But the opinions on FR are a lot more divided. Can you change it back please.

If you are in news/activism (which you will be if you click on that under “browse by forum”) then click on the tab “comments” at the top, and you will be on the latest posts (comments) page for news/activism

It was just temporary, the time when all comments came up every time.

I like the new look. I think the names of the tabs could be clearer, but that’s a nit.

I still not sure how the pager works.

It's temperamental... works only when it wants to:)

Will there ever be a “hit counter” again on threads to see how many individuals have read that particular story?

Dittos from me...in the past, I've posted threads that got maybe twenty posts on them but got over a thousand page views.  The number of posts on a thread is absolutely ZERO indication of how many people are looking at the thread and of how much actual interest there is in the topic.

If there's any way at all of bringing back the hit counters for the individual threads it would be sincerely appreciated....it would give us an idea of how many people are interested in what we post  :-)

Today’s look is nice ... how about making all elements on the sidebar configurable? I don’t use the “popular keywords” feature, nor do I browse by topic - although the post links are a nice improvement. If those two blocks could default to the top but let me assign them a different weight, then I could get the important sidebars like breaking news visible at the top without having to scroll down.
