I know what I am missing and that is a family member who was on anti-depressants before the suicidial warning came out on them.
She would have been 35 this year.
Grief counselors
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Definition of “grief counselor”: Government school priesthood.
“If all he wanted was to commit suicide he would have done it out in the woods all by himself.
There were other factors driving his choice of place and making sure he had an audience.”
Yes, he wanted to be important and noticed.
No one goes out into the woods to kill themselves, you are put into the woods to make it look like a suicide.
More likely there were 5 or more PE teachers with classes in the gym.
The fact is, you jumped to an unwarranted conclusion—an opinion pulled out of thin air.
My wife works with his counselor, yes he was homeless. No Family, no excuse, just fact.
Thanks.
No way of knowing from the info available.
How can that be in this day and age?
Sad.
Ya, and she tells me he was making good grades, what can I say. His counsler is on medication right now. She had hopes for this guy. He was living day to day in a group home of some sorts. "There but by the grace of god go I"
And this one happened so soon after a student at Northern Illinois University killed himself onstage in an auditorium filled with other students. The main difference is: the college student shot and killed other students first. This young man didn't, but maybe the Illinois story got him to thinking about suicide in front of other students.
Yes, that is very sad. My father once told me this story: When he was a kid, his class took a trip down South which was segregated at the time. There was only one black boy in their class, and everywhere they went, he was separated from them. After the trip, the boy killed himself, and their teacher read his suicide note to their class. It affected my father profoundly.
I'm sure everyone has been touched by at least one suicide in their family or their town, etc. It's so terrible because it never has to be that way. There's a solution to almost every problem, and there are ways to handle the hardships in life.
“There’s a solution to almost every problem, and there are ways to handle the hardships in life.”
And suicide doesn’t solve any problems, it only creates more for those you leave behind.
