Friday, April 25, several thousand schools across the nation will be observing "Day of Silence (DOS)." DOS is a nationwide push to promote the homosexual lifestyle in public schools.
AFA is joining other family-oriented groups in urging parents to keep their children at home that day if their local school is participating in the DOS project. By remaining silent, the intent of the pro-homosexual students is to disrupt the classes while promoting the homosexual lifestyle.
DOS is sponsored by an activist homosexual group, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). DOS leads the students to believe that every person who identifies as a homosexual, bisexual or cross-dresser is a victim of ongoing, unrelenting harassment and hate. Students are taught that homosexuality is a worthy lifestyle, homosexuality has few or no risks, and individuals are born homosexual and cannot change. Those who oppose such teaching are characterized as ignorant and hateful bigots.

My daughter can’t stay quiet for 30 seconds.
I think it would be shrewd if Christians would counter with a Pro Life message.
Come to school with the Red duct tape over the mouth labelled with the word “life”
That would surely antagonize the organizers and sexual fascists in a big way. At the same time it would pose an inoperable dilemma.
I thought DOS went out the Windows???
excellent thinking!!!
If my kids went to such schools (which thank God they don’t) I’d send them that day with a bass drum and megaphone.
We have seen some of our kids friends ruin their lives - they are goaded into joining into this charade for the special privileges and then they are goaded into “coming out” and professing their homosexuality when none existed.
One girl who was on her way to an Ivy League future turned into a mental basket case.
DOS es un Hombre y un Mujer!
Yeah. I teach middle school. There isn’t enough duct tape in the world to ensure their silence.
So when is this stupid queer day? I’d like to know so I can tell my son to keep his kids home that day.
Freedom of Speech.
I see no dilemma and my daughter is just the rebellious type to take a stand like that. I dont know where she gets it but I may have to casually suggest this if our local school get stupid with this.
State taxes to pay for their schooling and this is what they’re doing on our dime.
I remember there was something similar to this called “Jeans and Sneakers” day.
I don’t even know. My kids are all into gansta rap and La Raza and La Vida Loca... they aren’t into this. To them, I think, this would be A White Thing.
I had posted the below == response earlier to another article on the same subject but it bears repeating.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a national movement to take back the public school system from the marxistFeministas/neoNaziLiberals/neoCommunists.
By starting a election push against those school boards that allow this Queerization and defeating them in locally HOT elections where this ideology is the main issue as it means to destroy public education and the JudeoChristian American society.
By highlighting (public naming) those pricipals and teachers who facillitate this agenda and moving for their dismissal/termination/decertificaion to teach or admin.
By starting a national TAX REVOLT against these school boards/districts for allowing this treasonous ideology to have any place in education - No More Taxes For Queerism.
By purging all NEA and librarian organizations (AND their members) that support such ideology from the public education terrain - never to return.
Hey Buffalo Killer, really good ideas!
I can see (moronic) individual students observing it, but how do actual schools observe this day? Do the teachers use mime?

he took on Lexington Public School in Massachusetts in an attempt to force them to comply with the Parental Notification Law.
WHY? Because the school was forcing his kindergartner to learn about same sex partners. Heard of the book King and King?
The principle of the school had him arrested because he refused to leave when they refused notify him before shoving that garbage down his 5 yr old’s throat. Then the principle got a restraining order on him so he couldn’t even pick up his own son at school. THE SCHOOL his taxes pay for.
these parents are not hicks. one is a chemist, the other a scientist.
this is why the liberals push this discrimination and hate crime crap.
now if you say you don’t want your kid learning about gays, you are a hater, a law breaker, intolerant.
afterall, gays are a part of our world, and it is their responsibility to teach our kids about the world and everything in it EXCEPT CHRISTIANITY!!!
Libs are pro-choice, but that doesnt mean the same thing as freedom. pro-choice simply means, pro-libs way.
But in other words that day will be the Silence of the Lambda.
The best way to attack this sort of nonsense is not directly, but in a direction they would not expect.
It is remarkably easy to get parents agitated over stuff like this, and agitated parents en masse can make life a burden and a misery to school administrations, district administration, the school board, and even the State board of education.
What I would suggest is to obtain a whole bunch of cheap condoms, then put each one in a little envelope or package that reads: “You won’t know you’re gay until you try”, or something like that.
Then give handfuls to mischievous boys to hand out to their little friends, discreetly, a few days before “gay day”.
Of course the little darlings will take them home to show their parents. “They were handing them out at school,” they will say.
By five o’clock that evening, the Principal will suspect that something is amiss. The phone will not stop ringing until around noon the next day. By then, the Principal will wish he had never heard of “gay day”.
