The goal is always the same.

- Redefine weakness as strength. Example: The fact that he has NO military, executive, or business experience; that he’s a junior Senator is turned on its head and twisted to be a positive. After all, he’s not part of the Washington establishment and he’s for change.

- Make everything that’s negative off limits. Look, everyone knows why Obama is special and why anyone mentioning his name has to think carefully about the words chosen, but it’s getting ridiculous. Obama is running for public office. He’s asking people to vote for him, to put him into the most powerful office in any free state. He’s asking to become the most influential person on this planet and those considering voting for him want to know who he is, what he’s about, etc. The battle of the primaries and presidential office is supposed to be bloody. It’s part of the game and it even serves a purpose, forcing a vetting process, weeding out the weak or slow, uncovering dirt, and ensuring the people see these candidates not only the way they want to present themselves hugging children.

Michelle, if you can’t take the heat or don’t like it, quit! No one is “forcing” you to be the first lady or Obama the President.

There are rules, there is bad taste, but your feelings aren’t the litmus test. Obama already gets special treatment from his own party and the Republicans. Don’t cry us a sob story about America being “mean.” You’re a boxer, standing in the ring whining about having been hit in the nose. Whine to much, and the audience will “boo” you away.
