How to terrorism tape allegedly posted on web

Snippets: Federal prosecutors say a University of South Florida student charged with aiding terrorism posted a how-to video about remote controlled bombing on YouTube.

Ahmed Mohamed's lawyers argue that the video is protected by the First Amendment and have asked a judge to dismiss any charges related to it, The Tampa Tribune reported.

Prosecutors said Mohamed demonstrated converting the remote control for a toy car into a device to set off a detonator. He allegedly said that remote control would "increase Muslim lives one more life" by avoiding suicide bombing.

Mohamed and another student, Youssef Megahed, were arrested in South Carolina in August. The two young men, both Egyptian nationals, are accused of transporting explosives.

“...and have asked a judge to dismiss any charges related to it...”

OPINION:

I hope the judge just says NO.

And the plot thickens :-). Thanks for the update MamaD. It will be interesting to see how the judge rules.
