15 North Koreans executed as example
Radio Netherlands ^ | March 05 2008

Seoul - Fifteen North Koreans have been executed because they illegally crossed the border with China. The South Korean humanitarian organisation Good Friends says they did so in search of food. The group which consisted of 13 women and two men, was shot dead in a public execution on a bridge in the town of Onseong.

The humanitarian organisation says the local population was extremely shocked by the incident. Border crossings by starving North Koreans are a daily occurrence. Many North Koreans have family or friends in China and visit them illegally.

Normally, anyone caught crossing the border is sent to prison. According to Good Friends, a North Korean official says the severe punishment is intended as an example to others.

In North Korea, prison is just a slightly slower way to die.

Now, we aren’t considering that, are we? Okay, maybe some of us are, but not the rational ones among us, right? No body in America is that hard-line, are they? Anybody???

So were they executed by the Chinese government, or the North Korean?

Hey, 15 less mouths to feed. I wonder if the N. Koprean population is actually shrinking due to starvation and low birth rates.

Imagine how bad it is when you have to leave your country to go to China.

The world leaders and the world media ignores these atrocities though, just as they do with Africa. All of the starving, horrible torture and genocide.

They’re too busy pointing fingers at the evil US and Israel, with our waterboarding of terrorists, and Israel’s attempts at containing terrorists.

Yeah!!

Someone needs to stick up for the abominable status quo! I mean, “feel good”ism is just not demonstrated enough outside of the radical left!

So, what’s it matter that it costs us, as a nation, billions of dollars a year? And what’s so bad about “rape trees” adorned with the bloody underwear of women gang raped by their coyotes? I mean, filthy human traffickers deserve to have sex too, dont they?

We sooo don’t have enough sweat shops filled with near slave level chattel! And the sex slave market is a win win too in the victimless crime “service” industry!

But, for sure, and for truth! Anyone standing up to confront the current system must be a nazi, or a fascist or...or... or something really mean!

Oh, dear. I’d prefer the second illegal entry and they face 2 years in prison, then deportation. Although, I must say this IS less expensive. What’s a bullet go for these days? PUL-eeze! I can’t imagine anyone criticizing us and letting this go unremarked. What horrid people!

Too bad the useful idiots who sent the NY Philharmonic to play before the Commie elite in Pyongyang didn't get to witness this execution. Apparently the starving peasants didn't get to hear their concert.

"North Korea was tearing down anti-American posters that line the streets of Pyongyang in preparation for the New York Philharmonic's unprecedented visit, the ensemble's president said Sunday on the eve of departure. The musicians said they hoped personal contacts with North Koreans could help bring the countries closer. But some also worried their performance Tuesday wouldn't change anything, and instead be misused for propaganda in the communist country that technically remains at war with the U.S. The Philharmonic's president and executive director, Zarin Mehta, said North Korea had met the group's requests that the largest possible audience hear the concert. The performance will be staged in a larger hall and will be broadcast live on radio and TV."

Hey, I got a great idea; why don’t we give North Korea more stuff so that the government there can continue to build missiles to threaten a quarter of the hemisphere while they can’t manage to feed their own citizens!

Oooooh Obama, what do /you/ think should be done about North Korea? No, no, we’re talking about the fifteen people who tried to leave the country because they were hungry and were executed. You know, all those women...?

Man, what a classic deer in the headlights moment that would be.

I’m sure the ACLU and the entire liberal democratic party are OUTRAGED! You can tell by the deafening silence. If they would’ve taken POWs and put them in a pig pile however...

It says a lot about the US that we’re worried about how to keep people out, while other nations do something like this to keep people in.

Another success story for advocates of appeasement of evil.

What a proud moment for members of the NY Philharmonic just a mere week after their Kumbaya visit to North Korea!

The regime must have really moderated if only 13 peasants were publicly executed for being hungry!
