I doubt that with regards to McCain-Feingold as they are the benficiary of a liberal press not subject to the rules. Republicans/conservatives are the side that really have their free speech restricted as elections approach.
You also know (if you don't you're either dishonest or oblivious) that amnest for illegals is a mixed bag with its proponents and opponents on both the right and left, for various reasons. Whatever side you're on, there will be democrats and republicans that both agree and dissagree with you.
What I was saying was Democrats do not want McCain to win.
THEY see him as a “danger” to them.
But they crossed over to vote him in. Because they thought he was the easiest target.
There are a lot of republicans complaining about McCain but when push comes to shove we will vote for him.
The WOT, gun control, and the supreme court issues will push the Republicans to unite.
The Conservatives are not Dead by any means. We watch and learn. 2006 taught us that giving in to “make” a point doesn’t work.
We will fight now, not cut and run.
