This, in a nutshell, is exactly why Rush is wrong.
That "hate" does not transfer into wanting to vote for McCrisis.
Thus on the surface, it appears Rush is making an amateur's mistake -- Rush himself is nearly blinded by his "hate" of McCrisis, as he has led himself to believe that McCain was willing to subvert the Constitution with McCain-Feingold to specifically restrain Rush, in payback for 2000 South Carolina (and Rush says he "never gets involved in primaries". bull*******s**t. This isn't my first rodeo either, Rusty.)
But none of that -- NONE OF THAT -- validates reviving Madame Cankles nearly-dead campaign; therefore, a rational FReeper can only conclude that Rush, having f'd up the GOP primary race royally, now is seeking solely to monetize the situation to his best outcome, namely, Hillary in the White House.
And so Rush gets to do his shitty Bill Clinton imitation for the next four years; Paul Shanklin barely has to change his soundtracks for the next four years; and the rest of us FReepers are stuck with the most destructive president of our lifetimes.

You’ve made some profound points, and you have a keen understanding of Limbaugh’s character (for lack of a better word). Either you are right (and I did make a similar point on some other thread about Hillary being money in the bank for Rush), or I’m right (Rush actually thinks Obama and Cankles will wear each other out, so McLame wins, and Rush is a good GOP team playa). It sux either way.
