So what was accomplished by encouraging Republicans to cross over and vote for her?

Nothing.

It actually, ultimately, made BOTH Rat candidates stronger, b/c it became more clear and more likely that, no matter what happens from here on out or at the convention, their various constituencies are at least assured of getting a consolation prize (the VP).

If Obama wins, he cannot name Hillary as his VP. She would have him assassinated; he knows that, she knows that, and everyone around the both of them knows that. The other way around is possible and not something I look forward to seeing.

And they both are assured of being front page news for weeks to come as McCain will be lucky to get a Drudge headline once in a while.

Voting for Hillary was as dumb as it gets.
