I’m not a BIG Rush fan, but I am a Rush fan.

I truly appreciate what he has been able to do for us Conservatives, and he has done a lot. He deserves every penny he EARNS.

You and I may not agree with his every word, every action, but, in the grand scheme of things, he’s been a positive and contributing force in our cause.

Which makes me wonder, what would be your role?

I’ll never forget how Rush said Hillary wouldn’t run for the Senate, then when she did he said she wouldn’t win.

I also remember when he said that D’Amato would win his re-election and alluded to something that he (Rush) knew that would guarantee it.

I am bracing for a Hillary-Bill Presidency.

Rush had a career years before the moronic corrupt Clintoons were on the scene. Apparently, you’ve forgotten all the other Liberal morons/traitors that exist.

If Hillary were to somehow win, she would so polarize her own party it would be fractured.

Sorry, but that's simply incorrect. Hillary will choose Obama for her veep and be the great uniter after her miraculous comeback.

"She’s potentially quite dangerous, to everything America stands for.

So are Obama, and IMHO, McCain.

The female vote will come out strongly for Hillary . The female voters were soccer moms for Klinton resulting in two terms , they then became security moms for Bush resulting in two terms , now they will be feminist sisters for Hillary resulting in at least one term , possibly two.

The reliable female vote is truly the crucial swing vote and they will come out in droves for Hillary .

Obama brings no swing group , or new constituencies to the table . He can’t bring any new groups to the table that the Dims don’t already have a lock on . In fact , many white Dims will vote against him . I maintain he will be far easier to beat .

Rush is the biggest winner here since Rush is beginning to run all of Hillary’s and Obama’s advertisements on his program while the lame stream media isn’t. To say that Rush has no influence in this election is to say that Al Gore is right about global warming.

That’s what Obama used to call “bipartisanship”.

If she wins. The fairness doctrine WILL be back and talk radio goes by bye.

I don't think you can pin it on just her. With this stunt by Rush, any of the candidates -- especially McCain -- can make a case to reimpose it.

“If she wins. The fairness doctrine WILL be back and talk radio goes by bye.”

If they tried to get this through, there would be an immediate backlash from the public akin to the McCain/Kennedy shamnesty bill. Besides, it would be blocked in the Senate with a fillibuster.

Lets assume worst case scenario and you are correct it gets passed. What’s the worst that can happen? All the best talkers go to XM or Sirious and we have to pay 20 bucks a month to listen? Big deal.

I really think that this is a debate that some talkers have placed a little too much emphasis on. This is a case of them schilling for their current employers who are the ones that would ultimately be hurt. In the end, we the audience and the talk show hosts would be inconvenienced at best.

Rush could retire right now and live his “lavish” lifestyle for the rest of his life.
I suspect Rush is really hoping (and working on helping) the Democrat Party castrate itself.

Possibly the first honest words she has ever uttered!

Not the first. The first would be "isn't she beautiful Webb?"

The chess move to this situation will be Obama and Hillary teaming up. then they win.

Go for the third party again and see if the results are any different.

I think that Rush is much more than a talk show host. He has the ear of the President and most conservatives. The reason he pushed for Hillary was so that Hillary would be in a position to win the nomination, would select Hussein as her running mate, which in turn would revitalize all the republicans to vote in force against such a horrible ticket. This “comeback kid” thing she did with OH and TX was all planned as I always suspected and Husein and she had this all sorted out back when Kerry was running. It’s all a game and Rush has been on to it since day one.

I hope so. There’s talk about a joint ticket but both are too high on themselves to do that. My hope is it goes into convention without a clear winner but with Obama leading then Hillary yells about Florida not being seated.

Have to disagree. Obama can talk circles around McCain and make him look like a addled old man. Obama is a master of the one line comeback, not answering but putting forth a great sound bite. Of the two I think McCain takes Clinton and will lose to Obama.

That being said the only stumbling block is how will white democrats vote is Obama carries their banner.
