K-Lo, writing here from Austin, Texas.
Not sure why the networks havent picked up on this, but there is definitely a sizable portion of the vote in Texas tonight comprised of Republican voters looking to game the Democratic primary. I spoke with numerous friends today, who claim to be Republican, who said they voted for Sen Clinton with the thought that it will prolong the Dem in-fighting and therefore benefit Republicans. I wont debate the merits of their argument here, but the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results. Im surprised I havent seen anyone reporting it and just how large the impact might be. Im sure it is contributing to the number of voters deciding in the final three days to support Sen. Clinton. Would be curious to hear your contributors comment on this dynamic. The VRWC conspires to save the Clinton campaign?
I’ve been writing Sean to get rid of Luntz for the longest time. That guy just adds to the general confusion and gives credibility to the innane responses of the participants. He’s a showboater.
“He knows the absolute best thing that could happen for his ratings would be for Hillary to win the General election.”
She and the overwhelming democrat congress will have Rush off the air in short order with a newly invigorated Fairness Doctrine.
McCain is a done deal. We conservatives have already been informed as to the name of the dog in the fight.
What was the point of voting for McCain? I like the fact that some people could influence the dimocrat race to continue, thereby causing them to spend more money, pick fights with each other, and possibly get some interesting theater come the dim convention.
If your opinion is/was that Hillary/Obama can/will beat McCain, then it does not really matter who votes for whom. If you think that Hillary/Obama cannot beat McCain, then it still does not matter.
There are stories on Drudge now that Obama needs 77% to win it without the superdelegates (won’t happen) and Hillary needs 99%. Absolutely won’t happen. So they will start twisting arms, making promises, and, in the case of the Clintons, breaking some knees and causing cats to disappear. This will be bloody, and in a normal year, the Republican would walk into the presidency. But we have John “My Friends” McCain, who won’t attack anyone to the left of Nelson Rockefeller.
Fill me in-—I didn’t see that. Were they all gushing about Obama? My wife said that a bunch of CEDARVILLE students were going on and on about Hussein! That’s outrageous. Cedarville is supposed to be a conservative Baptist college.
Both candidates will have to do more pimping out. Those super-delegates are gonna get king treatment. Trips, dinners, meetings, prostitutes, whatever it takes. I don’t think there are limits on bribing super-delegates. Nice sums of cash. If I was a super-delegate I would not be declaring for anyone. I would be waiting for the best offer.
P.S. to my report...forgot to mention that Tom DeLay was also there and got some very intelligent questions from the students. It was nice to see the Hammer on the scene.
It’s obvious that Luntz wants to keep his air time, and will even add to the perception that the kids are anti-war to try and make that an issue. He has no shame. It’s stunts like these that we used to only see on the liberal MSM. Fox and Hannity seem to jump on that bandwagon more and more. RATINGS
good post
Polls at this time of the year mean nothing
Wait until the Hillary slime machines goes to work on McCaine and see what the polls show
She is much more adept and organized than Obama is that area
Rush is deathly afraid of Obama.
Why has she run the most incompetent campaign ever? She should have had the nomination wrapped up BEFORE super Tuesday. She blew through a hundred and and forty million dollars and is hanging on by her teeth. Her pledged delagates are losing sleep at night.
This is adept and organized?
There are certain things a pig won't do, and that is be HC VP. Don't bet the farm on that happening. BO will be running against Micky Boy with his old old old old ideas. And she will go back to poll dancing for BC.

I think he’ll take second in a heartbeat—and so will she. They’re both obsessed with being in the lime light. Going back to the Senate would be too boring for either of them.
Just my thought.
