K-Lo, writing here from Austin, Texas.
Not sure why the networks haven’t picked up on this, but there is definitely a sizable portion of the vote in Texas tonight comprised of Republican voters looking to “game” the Democratic primary. I spoke with numerous friends today, who claim to be Republican, who said they voted for Sen Clinton with the thought that it will prolong the Dem in-fighting and therefore benefit Republicans. I won’t debate the merits of their argument here, but the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone reporting it and just how large the impact might be. I’m sure it is contributing to the number of voters deciding in the final three days to support Sen. Clinton. Would be curious to hear your contributors comment on this dynamic. The VRWC conspires to save the Clinton campaign?
Damn it all-he never ONCE opened his fat mouth to show support for Fred, Duncan, or any REPUBLICAN-yet endorsed & reenergized the Clintons!! THAT’S what’s got a lot of people pissed off.

I reply: What do you expect him to say? If he admits that elections affect his ratings, his vote for Clinton “ploy” is seen as shallow and self-serving, costing him listeners. A man with an ego as big as (add your own punchline), could not tolerate that!
Well, the truth is exactly as he says. His ratings are NOT affected by which party is in the WH. He's proven that for very close to 20 years now. Look it up.
Well, I guess that makes me one too, because I voted for Her Thighness yesterday here in Vermont. And oh, by the way, I'm a Frog (both Mom and Dad born in Montreal) as well, though these days, I have renounced my French Canadian Heritage and refuse to acknowledge same!
I'm so honored to be in the company of those like yourself who are political strategist extrodinaire and have such a grasp of the electorate and their behavior patterns.
Me, I'm just going on experience and instinct, which have served me well, for the most part, for all of these past 64 years.
Well for all you "gurus," why don't we just wait and see what happens over the next several months before we go shooting off our mouths about something that NO ONE can predict.
Consider me a Conservative Patriot; not a minded-numbed-robot (I decided to vote for her all on my own), who has been around and voting for 44 years and have no regrets--no remorse.
By voting in the wrong party's primary, you (if any of you really did such a thing) have left several local, county and state conservative candidates high and dry, when they could really use your support. It's times like this that create Republican congressmen and senators who are gay, try to pick up other men in public restrooms and will vote opposite on every issue that matters to us. Congratulations Rush, your officially an IDIOT!

Nope!!! I’m someone who fears what Hillary Clinton will do now that she is rejuvenated.
The fact of the matter is that Obama will be easy to beat in the general election as long as Iraq is still going well. No ONE wants to lose that war after all of the blood and treasure that we’ve spilled. Also, I think that Hillary would undermine Obama’s campaign to ensure that he is defeated so she can run in 2012.

Hey you can think what ever your hearts desire about Rush. His point was this Obama was on a roll and the media was treating him like the second coming. Lord McCain spends more time taking his supposed side to task for any perceive ill words regarding Obama or Hillary. Now if lord McCain would NOT expose the shallowness of Obama, Rush knew that Hillary would love nothing better than to do it alllll by herself.

I think he probably is too. If one thinks Hillary would do more damage to the country than Obama, then Rush is wrong. I think the potential is there for Obama, lacking Hillary’s intransigent negatives, to do much more harm. And his race would prevent many in Congress, who’d be willing to confront the unlikable Hillary, from standing against him.
Disagree. It’s not a contact sport, it’s war and in a war strategy and tactics must be used.
