More to come.
“Rush is waging a very clever stategy(or tactics)”
Rush is an idiot. Texas conservatives could have driven the stake through the Clinton Machine’s heart. Instead they solidified a Clinton/Obama ticket that will beat McCain.
Thanks Rush
When your political enemy is on the floor with their neck exposed, you stomp on it.
She ain’t no ways tired...... Nobody told her that the road would be easy.... (nails down a chalkboard)
“And why would you expect Hillary and her Family do honor any commitments they make? Their track records doesn’t support it...Also, I strongly suspect Obama wants to stay as far away from these two as he can and certainly doesnt want to put himself in the position of being reduced to nothing by them - Which is just what they would do with him as VP.”
No arguments on any of these points. But recall that we are talking about Rats, and Rats all want the same thing: power. If the superdelerats believe they can get it only by forcing these king and queen rats together, you bet they will.
“I don’t think Obama will play second fiddle to a white woman. We’ll see how close he really is to Muslim sentiments.”
Hey, it’s a theory. But I think others will make the decision for them, especially if neither has the number of delegates needed to nominate.
I argue with none of your points because I don’t disagree. I think it will be forced on them for the sake of power.
“He is only running because he thinks she is a sure shot to lose, he isn’t going to let himself (actually, his wife won’t let) him be the scapegoat for a losing campaign.”
-—Don’t know if I agree with that being his reason for running, but I know that you’re right about him being the scapegoat. However, he could also be a scapegoat for refusing to lend himself to the campaign. Would he allow that?
“Obama isn’t going to touch a sure loser, and attach his name to is.....and he is only running because he thinks she is a sure loser.”
-—Again, I think you give him more cred than he deserves. He may just have been running to position himself. Nothing unreasonable about that supposition.
“You would find more freepers who could make a better case of why she could win, then you would of his campaign staff.”
-—I guess I don’t know his campaign staff as well as you do. But then, I wouldn’t expect HIS CAMPAIGN STAFF to say ANYTHING positive about her until the campaign is over.
“Youve identified the problem: helping Hildabeast get the nomination doesnt get rid of Obama, it simply moves him to the VP slot and, eventually, back into another White House run as an incumbant. I dont see any upside to that.”
Who’s helping her? I don’t think anyone on the right has any such intention. Merely prolonging her agony.
“No...My take on this is that the absolute worst and most doomsdayish of scenarios takes place..... an algore nomination. I still feel that he is the most dangerous man in America, and right now the stars are lining up for this to happen.”
No way in hell. She’d never go for it. I think you can see how much she hates him when they’re together. And Barack has no incentive to allow this. On the other hand, both have reason to accept the scenario I posit.
Not that it’s gonna be an issue, I’d bet.
“Hill and Barack dont get along well, and I doubt Obama will run second string to Clinton.”
Conceded, but I think this will be an arranged marriage.
Please look at the following. Did you miss out on voting for Republicans?

She was helped TREMENDOUSLY by these wins. Not in terms of delegates, mind you, but in terms of her ability to wield back-room power, especially on the superdelegates.
Two main things she got out of this little stunt was the ability to (1) argue (with the supers) that Obama can't win the big states, therefore they better stick with her at the top if they want to win the general election (IOW, she now has a better foundation for arguing Electoral College math, while Obama argues delegate math); and (2) that she deserves a redo in MI and FL.
This wasn't about delegates. That was settled long ago. This was about her street cred and her ability to pound on the table in the smokey backroom.
She got a BIG-TIME boost in that department, thanks to these wins.
For example, this just in from the WaPO:
As a newly confident Clinton (N.Y.) publicly entertained the idea of Obama (Ill.) running as her vice presidential nominee, advisers sketched out a new scenario for overcoming Obama's delegate lead: a Clinton win in the Pennsylvania primary in April and then persuading the more than 300 uncommitted superdelegates who are poised to decide the race that she would be the stronger general-election nominee.
“Let’s lose one for the Gipper,” eh?
/s
Except this wasn’t about delegates.
This was about the Witch having more power in the smokey back room, and that was given to her by this stunt.
