Congratulations Hillary Clinton (Vanity)
opinion | 3/4/2008 | BrianBaldwin

Posted on 03/04/2008 9:36:55 PM PST by Brian_Baldwin

Not a Democrat, not a Hillary supporter, but I got to say, I was really rooting for Clinton on this one and she pulled the rabbit out so congratulations Hillary Clinton. She won Ohio, and she’s going to win Texas as far the projections are.

And I say, “good”.

Of course, the “strategery” part of me is the idea that McCain has a better shot against Hillary who I do not think can win a General, then Johnny would have against perhaps an Obama – but the real reason, the truth is, I really don’t like Obama and I really, really, don’t like his wife who I think is a radical and she just is uppity against our Nation. She strikes me as the worst kind of “boss lady” one could ever imagine working for.

Just take Obama’s last name, put it on a bumper sticker, but “change” the “O” in his name to a Hammer and Sickle. And there’s the change that Obama and his Rad Girl friend is about.

Sure, Hillary is a Socialist. Obama is a Communist. So there. I said it. Go Hillary, you go girl.

You and I agree. This is bad and stupid strategy.

“I think it’s very hard to know now who is the easier to beat in November.”

Well, McCain is beating both in daily Rasmussen polling.

McCain’s got the “fire in the belly” that’s for sure. Say what you like about the man (I like him more than I don’t like him!), but he wanted this nomination badly, and he got it.

I’m not an Obama supporter, and I think the word “uppity” in reference to Michelle Obama is in unbelievably bad taste and has the potential to damage Free Republic’s reputation.

And we're so shocked by that. Here's yer card dog.

Use it all you'd like. There's an unlimited supply till the day white folks grow a spine again.

"She strikes me as the worst kind of “boss lady” one could ever imagine working for."

That's exactly why she'll be installed as our next president by those who sponsor the media propaganda.

That's also why you won't have an effective defense, after she's in office. You can force men into the military with a draft. But they'll only fight for you, if they want to. You can put men out of work, too, but you can't make them work.

..."uppity?" I see by your FR page that you've been a least a little rich, too.

Maybe it's time to leave this Party.

Michelle is pretty much the ‘boss,’” Obama admitted. “It’s the normal stuff. You know—limiting what I can watch on TV, making me squat to pee, and, the biggie, forcing me to quit smoking

She makes him squat to pee? How unmanly, to have your bathroom habits dictated by your wife.

Why does she have to “steal” the nomination. She kicked his butt tonight, no?

It's better for the good guys if she steals the nomination or at least looks like she stole the nomination. We wouldn't want the Democrats to say, "Let by-gones be by-gones," when their primary is over, now would we?

Rush is totally correct. I despise the Clinton’s as much as any conservative but keeping Hillary in it is the only way to take on Obama and do some real damage. This is the Clinton specialty. They tried the “positive message” thing but now realize with their recent wins that it’s time to go negative.

Do you think the Republican’s and McCain will even seriously take him on? Sorry, they will be too afraid of the race card. All the while, the media will be pitching him softballs and singing his praises right up to election night.

Rush is right. Some Freepers need to think this though.

That’s encouraging, but..

Way too early to know anything by polls. Mondale was ahead at this point, and Gore and..

Can’t really tell much of anything by polls now.

I am truly sick of that expression.

Better the devil you know then the devil you don’t.

Why? When was the last time we won against a Clinton...on anything?

We know this devil machine and we lose every time we come up against it.

I live in Alaska, in Wasilla specifically, Palin was the mayor here, there was a well known bar here that was a focal point in a vote years ago about regulations, the new mayor Palin was “coerced” by the owner of the bar to favor the results, Palin may be a looker but never the less she does not have a pure image.

Basically its just her looks, she is not a leader and has not made any real accomplishments while the governor.

I would rather see Condi Rice than anyone else, she is a warrior.

Hillary MUST steal the nomination.

It appears she's winning the nomination. And the big "mo" is with her.

She won't have to steal it now and the Dimms will unite behind her. Only Republicans are stupid enough to fracture and help the "enemy".

No he's not. Rush as a political strategist has NEVER been right...especially when it comes to the Clintons.

Sure it would be better...and if she hadn't won these primaries she would have been forced to.

But the idea that she's going to "steal" this is now moot as is the wished for Dimm civil war.

...vote for her!!!

Republicans couldn't back Hunter, Thompson or (egad!) the Mormon Romney... but they showed up in droves to save Hillary. It's obvious were still using the 2006 'kick-me-harder' playbook for 2008...

One should never let an opponent off the mat.

prometheus,

I think the biggest loser here is Rush.

Too cute by half by trying to get these two clowns to eat each other alive.

Yet Rush didn't have the cojones to endorse Fred.

When your enemy is destroying themselves leave them alone. We could have been done with the Clinton's, I am so sick of seeing them, retire already, and now with Rush flexing his muscles, She's Baaacccckkkk.......
