I agree and in the end Rush is going to look like a fool.
Anyone who compares McCain to Hillary is an idiot. While McCain is not my first choice as a candidate, the Clinton’s are pure evil. There is a difference and when there was an opportunity to stop them, Rush should have kept is big mouth shut.

Gray. Notice the hang up on the FEC? These people that bitch are so ignorant. They hear something for the first time and think they are so, so smart. It can’t be true. Bush got the hang job a lot, still gets it. One smart Senator, that does not want to be invited to the DC cocktail circuit can really hold up progress.

New Yorks legislature isnt Democrat, only the Assembly is. The Senate is Republican. Fine. But, what is NY tax rate vs NJ or CA? I'd bet they are all close to the top of the list. NY is only slightly left of CA, and sinking fast, because more people are being paid to not work than are being paid to work.

Rush Limbaughs ratings will sky-rocket if Hillary is President. And that is why he is (covertly, underhandedly, deceptively) supporting her for President.
Regardless of what Rush says, it is not to get Hillary elected. Maybe he's brilliant, maybe he's stupid. But his advice or thoughts are not for his ratings. For goodness sakes, the GOP's current strategery is "don't use Obama's middle name". That's it. That's not a ticket to win. That's a strategy to not get any grief. At least Rush has some guts to try to get Hill and Obama to duke it out before facing McCain alone.

YOu can post all the votes you want about McCain...fact is, he has been strong in the war on terror and THAT is all that matters. AND he is definitely better than an OBAMA or HITLERY. A great American.
Why are you posting on this site?
This is a Conservative site, not a gop site.
All those other things you so cavalierly dismiss are important to CONSERVATIVES.
Go infest a gop site, FreeRepublic is not your kind of site.

Just who says this is ALL that matters?
Did somebody die and make you God?
I will not forget that McCain did nothing but bash SecDef Rumsfeld for the past six months, not such a nice thing but more, is that how you give the troops morale to win? Is this called STRONG in a war, to bash your own Sec of Defense because you are petty, small and jealous of a job that should rightfully be yours?
Oh, and how about McCain standing up and calling those Swift Boat Veterans liars for John Kerry?
Is this what...some weird loyalty to those who served so well?
No, my friend, the war on terror is not ALL that matters and I argue that MCCain is not STRONG on it. Maybe stronger than Hill or Obama but I could never have a whole lot of respect for a former POW who calls veterans liars en masse or continually bashes this country’s Secretary of Defense.

actually.... uh, did you read those rules? A few hard-nosed senators can (and have in the past) balled things up pretty thoroughly. The floor is yours.
Explain how five hard-nosed conservative senators can prevent the other 95 from getting what they want.

Just once I'd like these politicans to pull out the supposed tearful letters they claim to receive with the $5.00 donations. This woman sends me up the wall as no other can especially changing Obama's chant to Yes We Will. I pray the numbers are so close that the powers that be over at the DNC stop the race tomorrow realizing she cannot win the delegate numbers.

Mindless robots....vote for whom I say to vote for. Do it...now!
Williams, I see how you think of your fellows FReepers, nice.

Senators can filibuster a bill or nominee so that it doesn't get voted on. I believe takes 60+ votes to end a filibuster. Republicans nearly ended up doing this for some judicial nominees until McCain and some others came up with the gang of 14.
Unless I'm mistaken, Senators can also hold up bills in committees by not bringing them up for a vote and other shenanigans. So far, Democrats have used these tactics while Republicans have not.

Interesting that Hillary spoke BEFORE Obama.
LOL Fox News saying, that a dem strategist said if Hillary wins Ohion and Texas, the dems are going to need a boat load of aspirins.
This is going to get ugly. We may see a redo of Chicago "68"

“Sorry, but the longer Anns Girl and Obubble fight each other, and battle over MI & FL, and battle in the courts, the more likely neither will be able to beat McCain.”
Also remember the longer they fight it out the more money they will have to spend the less money they will have in the general election.
