I don’t think McCain will lose. I think he takes the middle and hopefully the Republicans come out in force.

Will it transcend into house and senate victories is the question.

We got our work cut out for us though, keeping him from being a bonehead like he has been.

Your theory and Rush’s is dead wrong. If Obama could have won Texas then I would agree, but first you make sure she is dead and rely on her vanity to stay in, which she would have.

Rush, Hannity, Ingraham all jumped the gun...which is why they do radio and don’t run campaigns. All we need was this last round and she was dead, now with the Hispanics and crossover GOP votes, Hillary will win Texas. Game over for Obama...no brokered convention.

The Clinton fans won’t like Obama, Bill and Hill will want him defeated for their 2012 run, and the Establishment—whoever they are, heh heh—will not want Obama to win in November. All signs point to the GOP if Obama is the nominee.

This is a point I have made too and if I may say it is phenomenonaly important. Those that say Obama is a sure winner over McCain (so vote for Hillary) ignore the Clinton's hunger for one more chance in four years if Obama lost. They would be doing some dirty work that would help McCain to defeat Obama. This cannot not be part of the consideration when choosing who to cross over to vote for.

Beating Hillary today probably elects McCain, because she will be able to make a case in 2012 that they should have nominated her and look at the horrible USSC nominations from McCain — so she can win.

It would seem likely she’ll be the VP on the ticket for Obama.

I think McCain beats Obama because Obama is an extremist and there are plenty of newsclips to show it. I think McCain beats Hillary because the black vote will abandon her (unless Obama is the VP nominee).

An Obama/Hillary ticket is likely weaker than a Hillary/Obama ticket.

ahhh... wouldn’t that be a dream come true. Do you think the koskids would settle? I think not. The only way she fixes it is to have Obama as the running mate. One would hope that relationship will get destroyed in the coming weeks.

You underestimated the witch and now you will get 8 years of Clintons in the WH...total morons.

I think you're wrong. If Hillary wins the nomination, Obama fans will stay home in droves. Besides, she has VERY high negatives and I think a lot of people don't want her in the white house...A LOT! Obama, on the other hand, will bring people out like we've not seen before. McCain would be toast.

Guess we'll just have to wait an see which one of us is right.

Those numbers mean that Hillary Clinton is going to win both Texas and Ohio.

“...even if she wins Ohio and Texas (I doubt it) she would have a minimal delegate gain due to the Dems proportional distribution.”

Delegate count after Ohio and Tx doesn’t matter. It will prove he cannot win the big states and the Clinton’s will have leverage to runoff in Mich/Florida, that will give her the lead. Game over. It gives the SuperDelegates cover to abandon the great black hope.

Well, do I drink my Old Overholt or the Makers Mark. I am not going to have a good night. No I am not stress out that McCain will get the GOP nomination and no I am not stress by Clinton or Obama winning the dems in OH, TX, RI and VT.

But I just KNOW I’m going to blow a fuse over the coverage. You got CNN which is so in the tank it is a mental disorder, or you’ve got Faux News and that ultimate whiner Bill-John-Boy-Walton-Hemmer and the foxes that cannot read nor do they have any sense of geography or math.

Long night.

Drink.

Texas:
Hispanics: Clinton 64, Obama 35

Be sure to remind EVERYONE that Hispanic Voters are valued at FAR LESS than Black Voters the way the Democrats have set Texas up!

Second Class Citizens who the Democrats don’t value nearly as much!

like I said relax.

The delegate math works in his favor any which way you turn it. He would never choose her as a running mate, and the reverse would be disaster for us. I am not worried about a Hillary comeback in delegate math. Can’t happen, no way, no how. She would have to steal it and there is no way the Michigan and Florida delegates (not that it would make a whole lot of difference) will come as they stand now.

She has to win Ohio and Texas by 20 pts to have a chance. It ain’t gonna happen. BUT, it will keep her in the race.

Don’t Rush to a wrong judgement.

Follow the money.

I agree with you folks - the best possible scenario is for Baraq Husayn ibm Mahomet to win, and force She Who Must Not Be Named to reveal the power She wields behind the party apparatus. A bloodletting on the convention floor is our last best hope.

I agree that it is a stupid proposition to prop up Hillary - let nature take it's course is my motto. That being said the math is simply not there for Hillary to pass Obama in delegates short of a major, major gaffe or scandal.

But again I agree that the push should not have been for this Super Tuesday II but the day after after the chips fall where they may.
