Joshua 24:15 was the motto on the post outside their home.

She is 16. Does that mean no death penalty? The two guys are toast, for sure.........

This story is just too sad for words. How stupid do you have to be to think you can get away with this.
If they were in love she could have waited the couple of months until her 17th birthday and she could legally be emancipated.
I’ll bet it was not over the boyfriend as much as it was probably taking way her cell phone. I thought my daughter was going to go into a coma when we turned off her texting indefinitely after we caught her texting while driving. I told her last night it has been two weeks an she is not dead and her social life continues.

So Erin Caffey and her friend Bobbi Gale Johnson sat in a getaway car outside, while Caffey's boyfriend Charlie James Wilkinson and his friend Charles Allen Waid - who had been hired to help for $2,000 - broke into the Caffey home while the family was sleeping.
Wilkinson and Waid shot Penny Caffey to death and shot Terry Caffey to the point that they thought he was dead.
Matthew Caffey and Tyler Caffey came downstairs to investigate. Wilkinson told them to go upstairs. He then shot 13 year old Matthew in the head, then Waid and Wilkinson hacked 8 year old Tyler to death with a sword.
Then they set the house on fire and fled in the getaway car.

They stabbed the 8-year old to death with a sword, according to the police report. Then they burned the house down while the daughter sat outside in a car watching.
The death penalty would be far too nice for these individuals.

Erin Caffey is a sick, selfish demented puppy. Life in prison with no possibility of parole is the best punishment for her.

The daughter is the only one who is not eligible for the death penalty.
They will probably let the girlfriend evade the death penalty.
A couple of years from now the daughter will be on internaet dating sites and scamming expensive presents from pathetic slobs whom she tells her sob story to.
She amy even convince one of them to help her break out of prison.

The daughter chose evil...and served the master of lies.
The kids who planned and carried out these hideous, dispicable murders should all be tried as adults and themselves executed.
I believe God in Heaven saved the father to tell the tale. His poor wife and the mother of those kids. Those poor brothers. They rest with Christ Jesus now. It is a miracle that the father lived.
The callous manner in which these kids talk of what they did...just "taking care of business". IMHO, they should be sent home to their Maker so He can pass final judgement on them.

I doubt she’ll be out before she’s an old woman, if they try her as an adult......Same for the other girl........

Yeah, it really reminds me of Starkweather and Caril Fugate. But this is probably even worse.
People are capable of enormous evil.
To: Jeff Head
I am hoping that Wilkinson and Waid will both get the death penalty because the father survived to testify against them, thus the prosecutors may not need the testimony of one killer to secure a conviction against the other.

Sadly, this is just another example of the culture our kids are growing up in.

What a bunch of amoral whackjobs. Not wanting to wait two years to date is worth killing for? Public hangings were devised for crimes such as these.
To: Red Badger
All four were arraigned on Sunday morning and charged with three counts of capital murder each. Wilkinson, Waid, and Johnson are being held at Rains County jail on $1,500 bond each. Erin Caffey will remain at the juvenile center in Greenville and cannot be held on bond because she is a minor. $1,500 doesn't sound like the authorities are taking this seriously. Unless this is just poor journalism.
