A look at Michelle Obama.
Born in Chicago on January 17, 1964, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is an attorney who has been married to Barack Hussein Obama since 1992.
In 1985 Miss Robinson received her B.A. in Sociology from Princeton University, where she minored in African American Studies. According to FrontPageMagazine reporter Jacob Laksin, “In a [February 2008] interview with Newsweek, [Michelle] Obama reveals that she got into Princeton … not on the strength of her grades, which she admits were unexceptional, but thanks to her brother Craig, a star athlete and gifted student who preceded her to the school. As a ‘legacy’ candidate and a beneficiary of affirmative action, Michelle Obama was granted an opportunity that others more accomplished were denied.”
At Princeton, Miss Robinson wrote a senior thesis entitled “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community,” (see complete thesis under the Resources column on the left-hand side of this page). Some excerpts from the thesis include the following:
After graduating from Princeton, Miss Robinson went on to attend Harvard Law School, where she was accepted under the aegis of a minority outreach program. As one of her friends would later reflect, Robinson recognized that she had been privileged by affirmative action and was very comfortable with that.
After law school, Miss Robinson returned to Chicago to work for the law firm Sidley Austin. There she met her future husband, Barack Obama, who was working for the firm as a summer associate. In the summer of 1991 she joined the staff of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.
In 1992, as noted earlier, Miss Robinson wed Barack Obama.
In 1993 she became Executive Director for the Chicago office of the organization Public Allies, an entity that sought to cultivate future community activist leaders by arranging apprenticeships for young adults with non-profit organizations.
In 2002, Mrs. Obama began working for the University of Chicago Hospitals (UCH), first as Executive Director for Community Affairs and later, beginning in May 2005, as Vice President for Community and External Affairs. In these roles, she was heavily involved in managing UCH’s “business diversity program.” In early 2005, shortly after her husband had been sworn in as a Democratic U.S. Senator representing Illinois, Mrs. Obama’s annual salary at UCH was suddenly raised from $121,910 to $316,962.
Mrs. Obama also served as a salaried board member of TreeHouse Foods, Inc., a major Wal-Mart supplier with whom she cut ties immediately after her husband made comments critical of Wal-Mart at an AFL-CIO forum in Trenton, New Jersey, on May 14, 2007.
Mrs. Obama was honored by Essence magazine in May 2006 as one of the “World's Most Inspiring Women”; by Vanity Fair in July 2007 as one of the “World's Best-Dressed Women”; and by 02138 magazine in September 2007 as #58 in "The Harvard 100" list of that university’s most influential alumni.
In a February 2007 appearance with her husband on 60 Minutes, Mrs. Obama implied that America’s allegedly rampant white racism posed a great physical threat to her husband, who had just announced his candidacy for the 2008 presidential race. Said Mrs. Obama: “As a black man, you know, Barack can get shot going to the gas station.” (Mrs. Obama’s implication ignored the fact that the vast majority of violence against black Americans is committed by other blacks. According to the U.S. Justice Department, for instance, between 1976 and 2005, fully 94 percent of black murder victims were killed by black attackers.)
On February 1, 2008, Mrs. Obama said, “I don't think there is a person of color in this country that doesn't struggle with what it means to be a part of your race versus what the majority thinks is right.”
During a February 18, 2008 speech in Milwaukee on behalf of her husband's presidential campaign, Mrs. Obama declared, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”
On another campaign stop that same month, Mrs. Obama told a Zanesville, Ohio audience: “The salaries don’t keep up with the cost of paying off the debt. So you’re in your forties, still paying off your debt at a time when you have to save for your kids. Barack and I were in that position. The only reason we’re not in that position is that Barack wrote two best-selling books.… It was like Jack and his magic beans. But up until a few years ago, we were struggling to figure out how we would save for our kids.” “We left corporate America,” Mrs. Obama added, “which is a lot of what we’re asking young people to do. Don’t go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse. Those are the careers that we need, and we’re encouraging our young people to do that. But if you make that choice, as we did, to move out of the money-making industry into the helping industry, then your salaries respond.”

Yes. But if we act like real men, we’d inevitably get sued by cowardly, shrivelled little attorneys.
Easier said than done. It is rare for a college not to be liberal, much less conservative.
Apparently it didn’t get much mainline press play. Since McCain has it sewn up and still has some money he should be buying some spots to play some of these outrageous Obama clips and quotes.
How far can one go in America and still claim to be a victim? Apparantly, all the way to leading candidate for the Presidency. Disgraceful.
I have the same concerns. I wondered when we will start to recognize the consequences of affirmative action.
I don’t believe the Obamas have ever accomplished anything they can be proud of which is why Michelle will never appreciate the opportunities we have in America. She will always feel “entitled” because of her color - an opinion reenforced by her scholastic experiences - and never feel included amongst accomplished people, especially if they are black.
Let’s hope somebody at the RNC is on the ball.

Mrs.Obama’s rumbling sense of anger perhaps stems from her knowledge that she attended universities far above her station in life, solely due to the colour of her skin ... and it is this, her decision to self-brand as a Token Black, that has relegated her to the fringes of American Society (NOT White Society). Had she earned her way in (which she clearly believes she was not capable of doing) and majored in something besides touchy-feely, African-American Style, perhaps she would not have this inner rage at the knowledge that she, and by projection her cohort Of Colour, have been handed Goodies which they could not (or believe they could not) have earned.
My Black friends have commented candidly that they are sick and tired of being equated with the Michelle Obamas of the world and having people assume that anything they accomplish is due to handouts from Whitey. My boss at the Education Board put his daughter in Catholic school because he was sick and tired of the teachers allowing her to take full advantage of teenaged laziness because they assumed she could not accomplish anything AND THEREFORE NEED NOT BE ASKED TO TRY. (His daughter went on to graduate with honors from Hampton University.) But Mrs. Obama’s smoldering anger at the truth of this matter, vis-a-vis herself, cannot be denied; and her knowledge that marrying a rich up-and-comer is the only other thing that saved her from a life of penury trying to make money out of a degree in African-American Sociology can’t be doing her much good either.
Wouldn’t I love the opportunity to cross-examine her on this subject and watch her head explode...

Perhaps you’re correct. Almost assuredly, that’s at least part of it. But, whether it be blatant tokenism or the more subtle affirmative actionist patronization which benefited her career, M. Obama must be acutely aware how inferior she is when compared to the likes of a Thomas, a Rice, a Powell, or a Sowell (or, of course, a great multitude of others). How she must burn with resentment and wallow in her palpable hatred. Nor can we discount her choice of course studies. Afro-American programs are notorious for their anti-American and racial hatred content. Another source that has surely had its effect, given her obvious weakness of mind.
The real problem is that she branded HERSELF as a token, by sliding in via a program open only to Tokens. And she claimed to be “comfortable with that” which maybe she was until she found out she was surrounded by people who most certainly were NOT so comfortable and who had no problem puncturing her comfortable bubble in word and deed. (Or perhaps she only imagined that — “The guilty flee,” said the Prophet, “where no man pursues.”) Mama frequently imagines that people are looking down on her because she lacks self-esteem. Not to mention Michael Schumacher, whose superlative driving talent could not overcome the inferiority complex that drove him to cheat, thus branding him forever not a superlative driving talent, but a cheat...
Indeed. And her assertion of being “comfortable with that” strikes me as a passive/aggressive defense mechanism employed to hide her sense of guilt, and to protect an entitlement that she knows she actually has no right to claim. That others know better, and are not afraid to express their dissent, is a threat to her self-esteem and to her public persona. The typical reaction to a threat is anger and aggression. Precisely her behavior.

She doth “protest too much.” Given her present circumstance, we must assume that her prickly attitude is also a political calculation.
Michelle Obama hasn’t said one thing about the US before the year 2007 that would make her proud to be a citizen of the greatest nation in the history of mankind that has placed her amongst the most privileged of the elite in this country.
I never thought that I would see a spouse of a presidential candidate who was more of a radical, narcissistic, arrogant, hubristic, self-entitled, and maddening solipsist than Hilary Clinton. To the nation’s dismay, I think we have found her. She is the loose cannon Benito Mussolini face of liberal fascism that Barack Hussein Obama is so careful to hide. Barack Obama is more practiced at keeping the mask up. But in the liberal Hyde Park ghetto that she lives in in Chicago, attending cocktail parties with her coterie of liberal U of C academics, Black South Side DemonRat pols, public sector sinecures, NGO flacks and liberal Sun Times columnists, EVERBODY she knows thinks and feels this way.
The ascendancy of BHO is the realization of the efforts of all the Cultural Marxists whose ideas were nurtured by the Gramcians who set up the Frankfurt School and spawned cultural radicals like Erich Fromm, Herbert Marcuse, and Theodore Adorno. Their intellectual progeny are thoroughly ensconced in the MSM, academia, Hollywood, and most importantly in the George Soros directed modern day Democratic Party which is the nest for all the Vipers on the left, the racial identity determininists, the radical feminists, the sexual deviationist lobby, the “watermelon” environmentalists, the open borders crowd and the anti-war seditionists who seek to steal from our magnificent armed forces the victory that they have earned with their blood and valor in the SAME MANNER as they stole our hard earned victory from those of us who are Vietnam vets.

There is credible info that could lead one to believe that his Indonesian stepfather to him to Mosque with the intent of making him Muslim. His own campaign said in a LA Time article that he was never a REGULARLY practicing Muslim, leading one to infer that he was an IRREGULARLY practicing Muslim. Remember who and what these people are (the Obamas). It is no surprise that she is a radical, and a racist. These people have NOTHING FOR AMERICA except their radical spray of negativism, arrogance, anti-Americanism, and anything but patriotic support for the core values of America -— they are products of the liberalism of America -— products of liberal academia and the radical anti-American forces at work in our country, basically targeting to tear down the core principles, strengths and values of America for their own empowerment.
America should seriously wake up to what and who these people REALLY are, not who they say they are. Liberals lie, and lie a lot.
