Someone's fate hangs in the balance in Chronicles' season finale, but that wasn't how it was planned. The strike halted filming with only nine of 13 episodes shot. Luckily, the cliff-hanger ending ties storylines together...

As far as TV adaptations of movies go, I think this is the smartest one ever. Good plots, good characters, good acting.

"The scene last week where she was practicing ballet and Resse was watching was one of the best SciFi moments this century." I agree that was very effective.
Showing the old Psychiatrist as a deranged believer was pretty clever also.
This is a nice touch, showing Kyle and Derek Reese playing catch and watching the missiles launch.

Her acting is like the Zoolander calander where every month was the same exact look and pose.
I do agree with the other poster. The scene where she was dancing ballet was probably one of the most thought-provoking visuals in sci-fi I had seen in quite some time.
Kudos to those who wrote and filmed that scene. I think everyone experiences a moment like that at least a couple times in their lives when exposed to a new invention or technology that just blows their mind, but makes you worried for the human race at the same time as well.
But besides that one gem, the show is Terminator 90201 and I was totally underwhelmed.

Summer Glau as River in Firefly? Yep. Very hot ... but she was quite strange and very psycho in that one. Firefly was a one-season wonder, and one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen. Hope you saw the spinoff movie Serenity. River ROCKED in that. Haven’t seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles yet. I’ll wait until it gets to Netflix.

Have you watched all of the episodes?
I will admit I fell for Terminator from the get go. The thought of a machine from the future that will not stop until it kills YOU is a great SciFi plot. Then you, in the future turn the machines on each other - even better.

I became their bitch in the first episode. My eyes rolled when Sarah hid from the T-800's gunfire behind the chair "O please! Is that chair upholstered in Kevlar?"
10 minutes later I find that producers are playing me - just like Cameron is playing the Connors.

Smith!

I wonder if they will renew the series. They damn well better! That climax was the most impressive I've seen in a long time! The man in Black singing of Alpha and Omega!

So far I like the series and loved Firefly & Serenity. I actually met her at a Dragoncon the one time she was there with Wash. She struck me as very pleasant and sociable. I think I have a little video of her when I went to her table at the walk of fame.
I am looking forward to the continuation if it happens.

So do you think Cameron is a good robot or a very bad robot??? Mae West once said (from memory), "When I'm good I'm very good. When I'm bad I'm even better."

I note that the explosion will not of course kill Cameron, but it leaves the door open for recasting with another actress if they want to go that route. Which would be a pity, as Summer is stunning IMO.
I loved the Johnny Cash song with the Revelations quotes that they used for the massacre scene.

Yep that's what people who haven't seen it say. For what you might call a "pulp fiction" serial on Monday nights, I think the writing has been outstanding so far.
And the cast has excellent chemistry with one another.

She struck me as very pleasant and sociable. Apparently she grew up in Texas, so there's at least a chance that she's a halfway normal person.
