Sorry...I did not know that it was offensive to call a LDS a Mormon (strange that other LDS are not offended by it).

I will only refer to you as a LDS.

And (I believe)...I only didn't cap the word "Mormon" when it was in the word "anti-Mormon" because another LDS on, this or the other thread, spelled it that way. Again, it was not my intention to offend.

If I answer this question what is your intend?

A couple of things:

It is not so much of being offended, as is misconception, mislabeling things of the Lord Jesus Christ as being Mormon.

Mormon was a prophet who received the word of God.

So it is not Mormon’s salvation it is the Lord’s Jesus Christ.

It's just a diversion we cop at times.

It gives us time to think up an answer to some question a Gentile has asked that we have no answer for.
