Congressman Duncan Hunter's endorsement of Governor Huckabee
is helping to bring defense and border conservatives on board:

"I got to know Governor Huckabee well on the campaign trail," said Hunter...
"Mike Huckabee is a man of outstanding character and integrity."

And cue stream of anti-Huckabee abuse.

What’s he gonna say? That oil prices are too high? I wanna hear the economic brilliance of Huckabee, again.

Huck reminds me of the aftermath of my last bad cold — a lingering nuisance that just refused to go away.

Huckabee is one tough guy. I’ll be voting for him in Oregon whether or not he is still running.

I’m not sure if I would vote for McCain in November but if Huck runs third party, I’ll vote for him again.

Yeah, these elections are annoying things. Why can’t we just have coronations?

Huckabee won’t run third party. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to vote for him in Idaho as filing doesn’t start until next week.

Im a bit upset about how Huckabee has been treated by the GOP establishment and Talking Points Radio. I get the strong impression that they don’t want people like Huckabee to run for office. As a Huckabee supporter, that means that people like me are not really welcome in the party. They want my vote but I have to sit in the back of the bus and shut up.

“And cue stream of anti-Huckabee abuse.”

He’s an open-borders Christian socialist snake-oil-selling Mormon-bashing reincarnation of Jimmy Carter who’s only running for VP. He’s a self-righteous, hypocritical squirrel-eating huckster trying to force-feed us his young-earth-creationist religious bigotry. He uses crooked cops to cover up crimes, then fires them because they were too honest to do so. He’s a tax-hiking, furniture-stealing, gastric-bypass-surgery-having stalking horse who not only appears in public with Bill Clinton but actually plays a musical instrument ... JUST LIKE BILL CLINTON!!

Plus he’s only trying to sell his book.

I pointed out in another thread, he may be getting $120 in royalties a day for all his books. There are easier ways...

{ironic tone}You open-borders-socialist Huckster supporters have an excuse for everything. So how do you explain the fact that he played bass guitar on Leno? Hmmm?{/ironic tone}

WARNING: Imitating the Huckabashers may be addictive.

Why not do something worthwhile like taking out Mark Pryor?

Yeah, these elections are annoying things. Why can’t we just have coronations?

Why would we want someone to hang around thwarting efforts to unite the party after it becomes mathematically impossible for him to win the nomination? Especially in a year when the challenges for the GOP are unprecedented?

Coronations have nothing to do with it. McCain has won this thing through a hard fight, and Huck has lost it through his own record in AR.

Just a couple of days ago, Mike Huckabee went with MINUTEMAN co-founder Gilchrist, and Duncan Hunter to look over the Southern border, and realizes more than ever, that we need secure borders.

Do you think McAmnesty would be so open minded.

Voting for Huckabee in the primaries is a win/win. 1) It gives Huckabee a chance to go on for a brokered convention; 2) If that doesn’t happen, it tells McCain that we are supporting the more CONSERVATIVE candidate, and he needs to reach out to CONSERVATIVES.

IF McCain wins the nomination too easily, he won’t even throw conservatives a crumb. In fact, he won’t even pick a TRUE CONSERVATIVE VP.

Fellow citizens: The primaries are our LAST chance to vote against Hillary, Obama or McCain, who will cause us to lose our liberties and sovereignty, to varying degrees.

Huckabee’s comments about immigration during his governorship were the polar opposite of what he says now. You can believe him if you want, I find the timing of his conversion highly suspicious.

There is nothing desirable about a brokered convention. It portends a loss in November, and I guarantee you that if one happened, the delegates would be in no mood to reward the person who caused it.

Regardless, we are not going to have a brokered convention. McCain should have the nomination wrapped up as soon as tomorrow. Huck will not acknowledge it, clinging to his pathetic rationale that the 102 unpledged RNC delegates don’t count. The media will increasingly ignore him. As he has fewer and fewer cameras to play to, he might actually realize how foolish this all has become.

The problem with that assertion is that Huckabee is no conservative.

Huckabee's like a case of jock itch.
