(IsraelNN.com) IDF soldiers and tanks left northern Gaza early on Monday morning, according to Ynet. IDF officials praised the soldiers bravery in combat over the past few days.
The withdrawal may signal the end of the first part of the Warm Winter operation that began last Thursday. Defense officials have not yet announced when they will begin later stages of the operation, which is to include the destruction of much of the Hamas arsenal.

Grads/kaytushas are not quassams. Considerably larger, bigger warhead pack with military grade explosives and not locally produced in Gaza, which means they’ve been smuggled in. I wonder how many they have left?
Even Olmert doesn’t want to admit that Gaza must be obliterated if this tit for tat is ever going to end. Perhaps he doesn’t recognize that he isn’t dealing with ‘a country’ but a camp of fanatical death cult savages.
If Isreal doesn’t show strength here it will definitely embolden Hizbollah, Syria, Iran and the terrorists living in the West Bank.
