Evidently my windows media center thinks i’m pirating dvds, as it WILL NOT PLAY THEM. I’m so sick of the “anti piracy” nonsense. Oh well...
I bought a Mac a year ago after using PC’s since about 1989. Three weeks after my purchase I came to the conclusion that I’ll never own a PC again.
That was great. Thanks for the laugh. Am holding off on buying my next PC until SP 99 for VISTA is functional. Till then I’ll stay with DOS 3.3. :)
I paid extra for a new laptop with XP installed so I could get Word 2007. Turns out to be a horrible mess, hardly like 2003 at all. Just setting page margins is a trial. Damned thing insists you need an extra line space between paragraphs on every single document you bring up, and you have to click about three things to get your lines to run on.
It has dreadful full-color self-important icons all over the place for choices I’ll never make and I cannot get the out of my way so I can do some WORK. The MS Word designers are a nasty high-fiving bunch of wierdos congratulating themselves for making you work your tushie off just to write a page. Three minute hate!

Pretty funny. I’m currently using XP. My next comp I plan to use some variation of fedora. Either that or try it out on my old computer first, before putting it on a new comp.
Anyone have experience with it?
